Not the best race for Gary . Good to see a top 10 and TT1 3rd in GC

HALFORDS TOUR SERIES - ROUND 5 - ABERYSTWYTH
McGowan/UK Youth is the first rider to make a move here in Wales
He has been Joined by Soladay/Team Optum, Metcalfe/Carmin Prio, McLaughlin/An Post Sean Kelly and Piechele/Colnago CSF Inox and together they built up a lead of 3m 31s
Another group of six riders have broken clear of the pack and are giving chase
The front group has been whittled down to just forty four riders and its the Katusha boys who are doing all the damage
Caruso/Liquigas and Tiernan-Locke/Endura Racing have gone clear of the pack as the finish line draws ever nearer
As they approach the five kilometre to go banner all they have is thirty seconds on the chasing pack
If the race referee sees this he wont be happy as the twosome get a help in hand from the Mavic car
And it aids Caruso the most as he has the more energy left at the top of the climb to take the race win
