Thanks but it's not going to happen.
I believe more in my chances to win the lottery coming 10th of september, then in Mollema's victory chances.
Don't get me wrong he is riding fantastic, but he can't do better than he is now. Which is hanging on in the wheel for dear life. That's good enough as it is tho, because Rodriguez and Nibali aren't capable of doing the same.
But still, it's all he can do. |

Actually no, I rewatched the footage. Cobo attacked before they set pace. Afterwards Cobo had a max lead of 35 seconds. And in the final km he lsot 15 seconds to Poels and 10 to Froome/Wiggins
So steadily increased hsi lead? No. Sorry.

How did Evans win the tour? wheel sucking and not wasting energy. I, for one do not think he will be the leader, but, i do think that he has a chance to win if he has a perfect tactic, |

Id say the 2 key moments were: A) Time Trial B) Working all the way up the Galibier to reduce the gap Andy Schleck had
Neither of which involved wheel sucking
But this isnt the TDF thread

And Im ready for the Angliru stage now The climb is brutal and it will be very interesting to see who can survive with the best and who can't. It's do or die for BW tomorrow.

Why is the amount of believers in Mollema this low because people here always go by reputation not actual strength.
However it's still more likely to be Cobo vs Wiggins now. Mollema to hold on for 3rd place because Froome will probably have to sacrifise himself and falter
I´m also counting that Cobo and Wiggins (or Froome) will be main contenders for overall win. I think we see very interesting stage today with many attacks from different riders. I would bet my money on Cobo for today stage and overall win |

The whole bloody Tour even.
Not that it was the most enjoyable Tour ever, but it's regrettable that you didn't get to watch it or read live-tickers to enjoy Evans' constant wheel-sucking. Then you might have been able to realise how much you're misjudging his racing style... |

I understand Evans is a great rider, i mean hes one of my favourite riders, but to be realistic he only attacked like once or twice throughout the whole tour, and those attacks were covered by the favourites.
Cadel didnt even have a team. |

Not attacking does not mean he just wheelsucked.
If you'd actually watched the Tour, you would have seen that.

I can't wait for todays stage! I really hope that we see some attacks by the favourites this time. If the other riders start putting the pressure on Wiggins and Froome I think they could have a problem on their hands. |

I told you. Evans might as well attack in la Redoute, do a 35 km solo to win L-B-L, and he would still be labeled as a wheelsucker.

Dont, judge me like everyone else. I know sometimes he does attack but what i mean is he is more likely to stay on someones wheel.
I love Cadel. He just majority wheel sucks.
Also, i watched the tour |

If you watched the Tour then you might have seen Evans leading the entire Galibier climb and singlehandedly riding of the majority of the other contenders and gaining 2 minutes back on Andy Schleck?
How is that wheelsucking? That was a magnificent piece of climbing if I've ever seen it. Reminds me of how Indurain did it. Although Indurain would ofcourse ride EVERYONE off his wheel. Evans had 2 or 3 left... but it was still impressive |

It's called counter-attacking. Otherwise they'd all just ride away from him

there was some joke here.. Some forum members decided that
Evans sucked imaginary wheel also at ITT. It made him so much faster.
Long time ago people thought that world is flat as pancake..and they keep saying that. They want to also burn man who saved that world is turning around a sun..not other way around.
This is just unfair to call Evans a wheel sucker when guy is always at the front of the pack to chase down Andys attack.
You have missed hugh part of the tour. |
