No not like Gerol.
Menchov just won today. So maybe we shall say he use dope to?
He definitely did previously as he is (or was?) a part of the Humanplasma case (along with Boogerd, Rasmussen and one more).
Which had no proof at all btw, (not in the slightest comparable to Puerto)
I'm suprised you still take that seriously.
But is it any proof that Astana isn't clean now?

And I don't see why one wouldn't take the Human Plasma case seriously.
It's a fact that Human Plasma has or had 30 athletes as customers, one of them being Kohl. Menchov has been named along with Rasmussen, Totschnig, Boogerd, Christian Hoffmann (some guy from the skiing sports).
Michael Rasmussen is very likely to have got his doping from there. His manager was at the time Stefan Matschiner who's also Kohl's manager. Matschiner has now been arrested for being Kohl's supplier, and Kohl has revealed that he wasn't the only one using Matschiner for illegal purposes. |

He's not that good at all. His chances would be slim if he was in top form. Which he isn't at all.
And he's here for a training ride and to help the team.
issoisso about T.Lövkvist will win the youth jersey
I will add this one to my memory, right now it´s quite good chanche for Lövkvist to win it but it´s many stages left I know but look at the standings right now :
1 Thomas Lövkvist (Swe) Team Columbia - Highroad 16.20.49
2 Kevin Seeldrayers (Bel) Quick Step + 2.44 |

Great stage today, managed to nip home and watch the last hour. It reminded me somewhat of the TdF stage Menchov won in the pyrennees. I felt a bit sorry for Basso at the end there I feel Liquigas could have played it better had they already decided who the team leader was!
Leiphiemer/Basso and Menchov will be watching each other for sure but whats intriguing is that there are many other cards to play. Both Astana and Liquigas have other strong cards to play in Pellizotti and Astanas numerous relatively high GC riders.
Tomorrows stage will be interesting, will the disappointed Lampre try to set it up for Cunego only for him to fail again or will LPR look to control or will a breakaway be allowed to get away and take the stage and the jersey?
Finally, I like all of you was watching with disbelief at the rides of Lovkvist (and in a patriotic sense Wiggins) its always nice to see riders climbing to new heights! |

We'll see in a couple of weeks.
If it turns out the impossible is possible and I'm wrong...well, I'm still very happy with my predictions. 99% accurate or so
And since you pulled up the subject of predictions, what happened to the people telling me Sastre and Menchov weren't going to do anything at all?

Menchov won the TdF stage after a great work by Boogerd and Rasmussen. And also he there was a fight in 3, but the attack looked like that one in some way.

There was never proof for the names of Menchov, etc etc. NONE. Kohl and Rasmussen on the other hand both had Matschiner as manager.
But there is NO, really NONE evidence that Menchov is involved in HumanPlasma. So I don't take that seriously.
Let them come up with proof, even a document with printed names, like OP, then we'll talk. So far, we have seen NOTHING of the sort. Only a message in German newspapers were they 'heard that Menchov might be involved', and that's it.
If we are going to judge on those messages, than sorry, everyone is doped. Even I can make up names and involve them with known doping cases that way.
As long as there is no SLIGHTEST proof, you should not name Menchov. |

So....
Sastre.Leipheimer and Basso tend to be bad in the initial mountain stages, and very good at the end of three weeks.
The fact that they were very much up there today is very telling.

Don't think so, but I can't really remember who it was. It was like 3 or 4 people on this forum, but I can't remember who.
Hey Bruseghin, what happened? 3rd last year, and suddenly this year....nothing

I can't and won't deny that there's no proof. There's no proof either that Rasmussen is or was involved anything doping-related, but that doesn't make him less suspicious, does it?
Oh, it's also worth mentioning that Dekker is said to have been involved with Matschiner, hence why Ruben is suddenly concerned about 'prove' and facts |

The thing is, I don't think there are any tough mountain finishes left, the queen stage has a lon decent, and doesn't look that bad. Then Blockhaus has been halved so that and vesuvius arn't really long enough to do any damage to the overall riders.

That's exactly what i was thinking, that and the fact there wasn't a real attack as such by the leaders, would have loved to have been on that mountain at the end, i would have been going crazy watching brad xD

In fact, that's what we've been seeing pretty much all year long - no attacks on the really tough stages. Remember MSR? |

Nope, donkey-boy (Bruseghin) got dropped after Cunego, then Cunego caught him, then he dropped Cunego again.
