SSJ2Luigi - I'm not sure, but Sagan, Démare, yes. So the sprints are for the National Champions
JuanMotr - That would be amazing
PCM rulezz - Indeed they were. Let's hope it can even get better! (I think the team showed it's worthy of Pro Tour)
Jesleyh - Thanks! Both are doing fine at their first tour. Stijn is developing into a wonderful sprinter better than I imagined (his SP stat isn't near Cavendish', but I guess he makes up a lot with FLAT and RES and STA from the classics) Gesink is doing good, isn't he?
FreitasPCM - Sure has! Let's hope it gets better!
Jakstar22 - Will do
sutty68 - He certainly gives it a go in the sprints. Thanks!
Thanks a lot for following and commenting everyone!!
I'll do a race report in a little while (maybe 2), but I have to go at around 13h, and I won't be back until tomorrow evening! |

What's with all these problems lately
So the game kept crashing at the exact same corner in the next race. After trying a couple of times, I decided to quick-sim it. I thought I had taken a back-up of the savegame first, but when I later checked, it seemed no back-up was taken. For some weird, fucked up, reason, Willy won the quick sim, even though he doesn't have the best hill stat BY FAR and he was set as team mate for Costa! So I wanted to retry it, but the savegame didn't back up. Hope I can go back a day using the Fast Editor now...

Willy had quick sim success before, stop sabotaging him and accept the result
He had a good day and attacked and the favourites were looking at each other too long and he held on until the finish! Yay! Go Willy!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

now you can't hide that both of them have 85 attributes on everything
but seriously I don't think you should run the stage again. You should let Willy win his first stage but if you would like to win it with him than good luck in editing it |

Tour de France 2013 - Stage 7
WILLY WOUTERS' DAY IN YELLOW
Willy Wouters - Leader in the General Classification
Welcome, welcome!
I'm sure you've already heard. Yesterday, Willy won the stage and conquered the yellow jersey, 11 seconds ahead of Contador! Of course, we were unable to post about this yesterday, because Willy had to give interviews, do doping tests and whatnot!
This is the stage where Willy won!
You've probably seen it on television. Willy too, a gamble and attacked when all the favorites were looking at each other. They started riding but just too late. Anton just missed me on the line but I took the win! What an amazing win on my palmares, a Tour de France stage!
We would include the interview here but it's in French. Instead, the Belgian press requested Willy for a talkshow after the Tour, so maybe we'll give you that interview!
So I would spend this day in yellow!
Only 11 seconds in front of Contador, with a stage like this, he is expected to capture the jersey back.
I worked hard all day, chasing/controlling the breakaway.
When my work was done, I still had to do the climb. I took it easy and finished well on time.
Would you look at that? Willy Wouters in the Yellow Jersey in the Tour de France! That's unbelievable...
My adventures here in the Tour have promoted me to co-leader with Costa. I won't have to work for him but can try and race my own race as good as possible! Dreaming of keeping this jersey is foolish so I will aim for a top 10, that would be amazing!
Radioshack took over the reins for Schleck.
Seeldraeyers did some great work for me in the uphill after Valverde attacked.
I was able to stay in the group of favorites, but had to pass on the occasional attack, because I spend quite some energy yesterday!
Then Contador saw yellow stars and he broke away from me at a weak moment.
Thanks to Van Den Broeck, I came back a bit, but I stranded on 13 seconds from Contador. My days in yellow are over, but I can start looking for a top 10 place here!

Well, these last two days were like a dream! I won a Tour stage and I wore the yellow jersey. In fact, this Tour is already a success for me. I was floating on adrenaline today, I fear tomorrow might be very, very hard!
Until tomorrow,
Stijn & Willy |

PCM rulezz - Co-leaders at the moment You'll see why in the next stage.
As predicted, after the next report it'll be radio silence until Sunday evening.
I'm a little sad that Willy won his first TDF stage without me, but that's life |

Tour de France 2013 - Stage 8
Well, the chaos is finally over. Willy lost the yellow jersey and things can return to normality. It was an amazing two days and an invaluable experience, but we have to get back to reality and stop floating, we still have a Tour to race!
And what a stage it is today! After this, there are 4 flat stages. It'll be a very hard day in the saddle with this profile...
There's nothing much I could do today, so I just enjoyed the day with my jersey. I'm still not getting used to wearing this, it's amazing!
I finished a safe 129th, half an hour after the winner.
First I win a Tour stage, something I never imagined doing in my life! Then I wear the Yellow Jersey, with the biggest honor possible. But today is the day of repercussions. All the energy the last two days took are draining right now!
Today was about minimizing losses. With a rest day and four flat stages coming up, I have plenty of time to regain some energy for the other mountain stages, but this day is about suffering.
It started with losing contact with the group of favorites.
I tried to do some damage control and in a way, it worked. I stayed at a certain distance, though. Sometimes I'd get a little closer, but an attack at the front caused me to back away again.
The favorites had split up in two groups. Costa ended up in the second one, but they weren't far!
Already 6 minutes down on the GC, Evans broke away without much trouble and took the win.
I gave it everything and crossing the finish line, I felt like I was dying.
I drop some more places on the GC and am pretty close to Costa again. This Tour is turning more realistically. I had a blast start, and now I have to get real and try to ride as good as possible. I must realize that I'm not Contador or Froome, so I will try my utmost best to race tactically and finish as close to the podium as possible, but even a top 15 would be good, honestly!

Nice stages again, one day Willy will be fighting for the yellow until Paris. And if not him, it would seem De Gendt, Van den Broeck and Vanendert are ready as well
