4 guys were in front until 2 km to go.
The motorcycles almost fucked it up with their bloody close ups once again. Riding at 55 km/h is much easier with a motorcycle 2 m ahead of you... |

While true that whatever Evans tactics were, or the reasons for them, it ultimately doesnt matter as it worked out for Evans and he got the win - the fact that he did 'wheelsuck' Gesink did make it a less impressive victory, which is what I think Ruben's point is. (Aside from the fact that Ruben may still be bitter about it, who knows  )
