I think in the mountain stages with multiple climbs and the real though, steep ones, Lövkvist will get intro trouble. Today he almost cracked as 6th/7th, but luckily nobody helped Basso. Most of the favourites are still trying to save as much strength as possible for the 61km TT and the final mountain stages, if you keep that in mind, and see Lövkvist is already at the limit, you know enough I think.
This is in no way an 'attack' on Lövkvist btw, he did great and suprised me and many others by doing so well so far.
I completely agree. Also keep in mind that this stage was rather short. Whenever we've been racing for a week, long stages, longer mountains, more mountains, I'm quite sure that we'll see Lövkvist crack - just like he almost did today. |

Let me guess. You are an American aren´t you?
Nope, he's not.
Don't knock him, he's got a much more realistic mindset than most fans (*looks menacingly at Saxo Bank fanboys*)

Di Luca was pretty good in the first mountain stages last year too and then start losing time.
Menchov, Basso and Leipheimer still looking like the favourites for the final win, with a big question over Di Luca.

He definitely did previously as he is (or was?) a part of the Humanplasma case (along with Boogerd, Rasmussen and one more). |

winning a stage with an attack in the last kilometre is now way like dominating every race and stage mountain/TT you are in.

What was Astana doing today..why they wasted 4 guys to help Armstrong (or this 4 just wanted renew contract)..they should focus on Leipheimer. Forget that Lance..(team owner)..
alex don't forget Sastre he is not out..he will be always there..better and better every day. Not for tour win..but close to podium.
You can drop Sastre but he will come back at the moment later. |

I think was is the correct one there. Also I'm not sure if Menchov was there, I remember Ruben talking about Boogerd, Rasmussen, Weening and Posthuma I think.

Not everybody dominates when they use dope... Maybe he is not close to the level of the others so with some dope he gets up to that level or to a bit higher level..

To show you how relative performances are:
If this were the 2007 field, we'd be here talking about how Di Luca crushed Simoni and the others.

Which had no proof at all btw, (not in the slightest comparable to Puerto)
I'm suprised you still take that seriously. |

Hell the german newspapers even apoligized for that message, saying they just got a list from an anonymous source with names, and nothing else, and nothing ever was proven.
If a german newspaper apoligizes, you know enough. It was fake... |
