"Before the stage, I thought that this would be a "controled" stage because of it not finishing on top of a climb and with the queen stage to l'Alp-d'Huez on the horizion," Bobbay Julich says. "Up until now, that seems the case unless one of the favorites decide to take a big chance today on the final climb." - Bobby Julich
I hope not. Hopefully the race will blow up completely on the Restefond

Julich also says the Bonette is the narrowest climb he's ever seen.

Menchov will attack, miss a corner, and somehow end up at the other side of the mountain in the downhill, giving him a 15 minute lead |

If nobody attacks today, I'll be monumentally disappointed, and either Evans or (most likely) Menchov will have the Tour won

Riis isn't an idiot. he knows he won't win minutes tomorrow. from Rabobank however, I do expect that kind of idiocy

Schumacher won't make it. Cunego has a real chance here

IF Cunego manage to stay with the other favourites tomorrow, how much did he improve in time trials this year?
I missed the first time trial because of some shitty job. |

He improved a lot. but he still sucks. And if anyone from the break takes the jersey (which no one will) it'll be Valjavec
Just now:
Commentator 1: "When I said Popovych, I mean Menchov"
Commentator 2: "He he. it's a normal mistake. One's ukrainian, the other's russian. it's all the same really"
Commentator 1: "Yes, and they both end in 'ov' "
*sigh*
