Speaking of stuff so hilariously bad it's awesome (since someone mentioned Lost)
The Asylum is back, with their latest masterpiece.

It's exactly what the title sounds like

Notice they don't only make monster movies. They also made a Sherlock Holmes adaptation!
It ended with Sherlock in a hot air balloon with machine guns, fighting Iron Man in a giant flying robot dragon attacking London, while Watson on a horse chases an android that's trying to blow up Buckingham palace......
EDIT: Also, there's a T-Rex in it. Yes of course I'm serious.

"Best part of the election? Florida not mattering. Usually Florida fucks us. It's even the shape of a penis."
"Ermagawd, the current stats on the propositions are terrifying" (this is a state thing. If prop 30 fails, they jack up my tuition again. So far it's failing.)
"Tourism is going to become Colorado's biggest industry." (Colorado legalized marijuana)
Then there is the butthurt Republicans: "All of the people posting about who won the election, please stop. I think everybody already knows who won by now."
My personal favorites are the more philosophical Repubs: "Think not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
By the way, Bronco Bama won.
Edit: Another I liked, from a conservative who thinks the world will end and he will have to fight for all his rights because Obama wants them back. He posted this link:
Obama wins? Who cares, they will both go bombing somewhere and that is what matter for us non-americans
But he seems like a nicer person in comparsion to Romney.

He does look nicer than Romney, but don't forget: he's a politician and a president. Can't be that nice. He's spent billions on his campaign, which is so wrong in so many ways.
Jim Morrison: Life, Death, Legend (book - biography)
When You're Strange - A Film About The Doors (DVD - docu)
Final 24 - Jim Morrison (DVD - docu)
An American Prayer (CD - Jim's Poetry)

Oh, have I already told you that I'm a major fan of The Doors and Jim Morrison?
There is not bigger Doors fan around than me, i know probably 90% of their songs word by word. Also when i was singing with my band, i usually started to sing turned with my back to audience just to copy Jimbo Nice collection you bought yourself Ian, i have some of these also.
Btw. I was yesterday in cinema at Doors-Live at the Hollywood Bowl 68" with 5.1 Dolby sound and brilliant picture quality, it was so !!! i cant even express how good that was (i saw it earlier at my PC but this was something else).
It was first concert from short cycle of rock concerts, next are Queen from Budapest 86" (legendary concert) and Led Zeppelin 2007 (their reunion in London, older concert could be better). These all are the must see!

Awesome
I already have many CD's and read a lot of Jim's poetry, but since that I have my driver's license, it'll be nice to have all CD's in one collection, to keep in the car
What did you think about The Doors (DVD from Oliver Stone)?
I thought Jim was portrayed excellent by Val Kilmer, and it has a nice touch, but I think Stone definitely doesn't get Jim, he doesn't grasp the complexity and the intelligence that Jim had, imo.

Still Republicans have the control of the House of Presentitves, chich will be ''pain in the ass'' for Obama.
Republicans lost ground though, and they will continue to lose ground in the upcoming mid-term, especially if they continue with their shenanigans. They've all signed a ridiculous petition to not raise taxes ever under any circumstances, and the subsequent obstructionism bit them in the ass this time around. They won't be able to justify obstructionism next time, especially as the economy improves. They'll just look like pompous dicks.
Demographics are changing too. Hispanics are a larger and larger voting block. Dems have women, african americans, Hispanics... really the last big demographic for the Repubs is the white male vote, which is losing importance and homogeneity.

I agree with you here, Jim is played great by Val Kilmer and he actually looks very similar there, but he is too often described as some kind of junkie redneck there (well he sometimes acted like that), but he was the prime artist and very intelligent man, who just got fed up often by people and society (something that happens to mee too, just i am not an artist to express that). and he did not hesitate to show it to people, that he is contemptuous of some of them. That is what is not shown clearly in the picture, by it is still very good movie and could be a lot worse in hands of someone else than O.Stone.
