I vote with everyone else! Carry on, show us the stats, and enjoy ripping it up in the peleton!
As others have said, stijn might just be a special talent, with 'special training techniques'

I'd be willing to not be shown stats. But a small range for them would be nice.

I would prefer to see that stats really, but I want to see it carry on, Eric has to win his GT after all!
They are IMO too powerful, as you know. But stranger things have happened, and your such a great writer that I can't help but enjoy it, even when they are so strong.

Keep going with the story but if you aren't playing on extreme when Stjin is racing then put it on extreame. |

News Update
Something incredible has happened! An important Belgian magazine decided to do a profile on the both of us. Thanks to Stijn's celebrity status, he has to do all those things now, but this time they wanted me along with him!
Two Belgian cyclist made their way into the professional cycling milieu in 2012. It wasn't long before some impressive results came along. Stijn Van Gent, the new and improved Tom Boonen, was only 23 years old when he dominated the classic season by winning E3, Gent - Wevelgem and the legendary Paris - Roubaix. This young talent was good for no less than 14 wins last season. While Eric Lombaerts, an extremely talented climber and time-trialer, built up his career in the shadow of Tour-winner Jurgen Van Den Broeck. His palmares includes a 10th place in the Tour and an 8th place in the Giro. Today we try to create a profile of these extreme talents. We asked them on a scale from 0-100, how good they consider themselves to be, and how they've grown.
Stijn Van Gent | 2012 | 2014 | | | | Flat | 76 | 80 | Mountain | 60 | 62 | Hill | 67 | 70 | Time Trial | 66 | 67 | Prologue | 77 | 78 | Cobblestones | 77 | 82 | Sprinting | 77 | 80 | Acceleration | 77 | 80 | Downhill | 74 | 75 | Fighter | 74 | 74 | Stamina | 75 | 82 | Resistance | 74 | 78 | Recuperation | 67 | 70 |
Eric Lombaerts | 2012 | 2014 | | | | Flat | 69 | 70 | Mountain | 77 | 81 | Hill | 77 | 80 | Time Trial | 77 | 80 | Prologue | 75 | 79 | Cobblestones | 60 | 60 | Sprinting | 60 | 61 | Acceleration | 73 | 75 | Downhill | 74 | 75 | Fighter | 73 | 73 | Stamina | 71 | 74 | Resistance | 74 | 78 | Recuperation | 74 | 80 |
Well, there you have it. They wanted to stay for a small interview but Eric had to leave for Romandie and he was Stijn's designated driver so they both had to go. However, we thank them for their time to fill out these "stats".

Thanks for clearing that out Ian, and you did it in a creative way too!
Stijn and Eric haven't even developed that much, their stats at the beginning were just a tick too high, but you were not a very good PCM player back then, so that equalled each other out. Now the stats became a little bit better, but you have become a much better PCM player, so therefore you are winning a lot at the moment. That's why you should play on extreme next season
And about the too high stats at the beginning of the story, just take that as a lesson for next time.
Spoiler ...if you ever stop having motivation for this story

Not the stats are the problem. You should play on extreme instead of normal or hard.

Well, I didn't know what to expect from 0.5 development as my only long career was with 1.0 development and I remembered it didn't develop that fast. I was wrong, however, so they developed quickly (I should've gotten a worse trainer, maybe).
Next story will have lower starting stats, same development speed and worse trainers. |

Tour de Romandie
The early season is already over yet this is my first real race I'll be participating in. My expectations are just like my form, a bit on the low side. I'm here to build up that form for the Giro.
I think I rode decently, ending 41th and taking 12 seconds on the winner.
Result/GC

I'm not sure whether I'll give you reports on the races, as I'm mainly here for the Giro, I'm not riding here for the GC. I have to keep my focus on my main goal. The field is also mighty strong, with riders as Contador, Froome, Andy Schleck...
Spoiler Plus I want to start the Giro asap, this Romandie spoils all the fun

They were already some beasts considering their age when the story started!
Hope Eric can have time to give a little hint about how his preparation for the Giro went. |
