Thing I like most about PCM2013 is the huge amount of variants and fantasy races. Stuff like Bucaramanga classic. Wish they were for PCM12 too. But gameplay-wise, PCM13 sucks. Never played PCM11, is there a 2014DB too?
You know that it's actually a WC variant I renamed to Bucaramanga classic?
Downloaded Expansion Pack (2012) and started career with Rabobank, who I actually used to like alot as the team in the times they were under that name and already started loving PCM12 again. Seriously, I really think this game is waaay better than PCM13 and still better than PCM14. I just don't know why, but I think all the new features, such as new animations, objectives and few minor things destroyed this game totally. Nostalgia!
Anyways, had a perfect Australian NC where Matthews somehow caught up with Evans and other climbers on last climb and of course, managed to beat them in sprint and become Australian champ. I am now in the middle of Santos Tour Down Under now and won 2nd stage already. 1st stage was a bit strange, as I set up pretty good sprint train, but The Bling somehow managed to fail and only finished on 13th position. However, the stage 2 was perfect. I controlled the race in last 40-50 kilometers, so no one could really escape, which was the perfect situation for Matthews, as the whole stage was hilly and finish was uphill. Slagter set up perfect sprint for Matthews and we even managed to get 1-2 there. I think I have an idea how to spend rest of the night.
Haha yeah, I'm totally with you on the animations. PCM13 has great enviroment looks but those animations... uargh, worst! (Can't believe I was impressed by them at first)
IAM Cycling is going good. We wern't at the Giro, which Nibali won way ahead of his teammate Scarponi and Cameron Meyer (who simulated his way on the podium on the 19th stage and thus kicked off Nibali's other teammate Brajkovic fromthe podium). Instead IAM goes for the Vuelta this year. Promotion is all but certain. Also, amazing Tour de Suisse by the win with two stage wins and three days in yellow. Lövkist won the opening prologue, Frank the second hilly stage. Although he in the best shape possible, Frank didn't stand much against Purito and Contador in the mountains and eventually missed out in the TT against Talansky, whom I may have upgraded a bit too much, but anywayz: A good result that makes me hopeful for a Top 10 in Vuelta. Also a 8th place in Liege and couple of minor wins by Haussler & Co.

Don't know, I don't think that Bucaramanga variant is made for PCM 12. But just go and check the WC variants, there are some really cool ones out there that could well be used as WT classic.
I believe I took 2 others from there for my Fantasy DB too.
Bucaramanga was the best though, had awesome gameplay and just looked great.
And yeah, agreed PCM 12 was quite enjoyable. It was my first PCM and I spent quite some hours on it.
I just dont like the newer editions of PCM, so I have stuck with 2006 which a fantastic game!
Anywaaaays, I have started with Liberty Seguros which got capacities such as Vino, Contador, Kascheckin, Scarponi, Jörg Jakcshe, Allan Davis, David Etxebarria, LLS and Gianpaulo Caruso. I won T-A with Jaksche simulating the whole ting, while Kascheckin won Paris-Nice by 2 secs due to the last stage bonus secs. Yay!
Pais Vasco was not a success, Jakcshe was dropeed early, but Etxebarria manged to follow all the favourties all the way through, but somehow lost 4 minutes on the final TT. Afterall it was Kascheckin who was my best rider getting a final 6th which was okay.
In the Ardennes, Kascheckin once again was my best rider. 3 in Amstel, 8 in La Fleche and 2 in Liege. I lost the sprint to the Boogeyman in the final metres, how unrealistic
However Jaksche and Kasheckin carried on in the Romandie, where Jörg controlled the whole way through while I think Kascheckin managed to get 7th or something like that. Lovely again.
For some reason I forgot to compeat in Trentino another Italian race that Scarponi wanted to ride as prep for the Giro, so his morale and form was not that good going into the Giro. Therefore I decided to demolish Kas even more in hope of a pretty sure top-10 which was the goal. However it ended up alot more successfull! Scarponi was nowhere to be found, so he was Kas' super helper in spite of Scarponi building his whole season on the Giro. Caruso on the other hand managed to get the climbers jersey, won stage 8 and ended 10 overall! Kas ended 6th after he dropped in the last weak.
Catalunya was a build up for both Contador and Vino, they both ended in the top-10. I destroyed the field in TdS with Serrano and Contador and managed to get op on the podium, 1 and 3.
In the Tour, Eltink got the maillot Jaune in 13 days somehow, but had a complete meltdown onto La Touissure where he lost 15 minutes, a stage Valv won, took the climber's jersey and moved up into 3rd behind Vino as 2nd and Rogers on 1st on a break with 1'30 down to Vino.
I decided to give it my all on the last stage, so I sacrified Contadors 11. place overall for a high tempo and splitted the field. Rogers was in trouble, more or less anyone was not being Rasmussen, Valverde, Mancebo, Basso or Vino. I won the stage 1 min ahead of the group and got 5 min on Rogers. Cruised the last TT where Der Jan won.
1. Vino
2. Ullrich
3. Rogers
4. Valverde
5. Basso
Fun save so far. Dno if I can win the Vuelta, but imma try.
Luis is still young, but I have made him some decent stats, so he will come strong next year! Unfortunately he got injured in May, so he couldnt make it to The Tour, but I think he is feeling fresh going into the ladder part of the season. His best results so far has been some decent TT placements..
