with romero I dont think it was the problem that it was only her 2nd points race ever, but more the pursuits. the attacks she placed weren't nearly as powerfull as Vos. if she hadnt done the individual pursuit she might had done better. but of course she aint gonna let that gold medal pass for the points race |

she didn't have experience as well. I saw attacks at sprints, why would you attack there. She was pulling the group at lot at the start. A bit of experience never hurts.
But Vos had the power, she wans't going to let the gold medal go.

Vos didn't do much more points races than Romero, but Vos has way more endurance than Romero. You could see that in the attacks |

GB was really good today at the team pursuit, but I would have liked Demark to be just a little closer so they could have made the race a little more exiting.

it's to match all the sports across the board. Once the olympics are done it's back to normal. Luckily for us.
I am warming up to it, but still prefer the normal one by a country mile.

Argentina won the Madison Frustrating race for British hopes ~ Wiggins was just too tired.
But awesome from Hoy, awesome from Pendleton and also very good from Kenny.

i don't think it was all wiggins fatigue to blame. I think it was the fact GB was very much a marked team.

The BMX has started. Shanaze Reade had a crash but made it through to the next round - but the other brit Liam Phillips failed to qualify, thanks in part to dislocating his shoulder.

I still can't find a single thing other than cycling that enthuses me about the olympics.
Also, I like the irony of Ruben saying certain cycling races are pathetic because they're full of dopeheads, then he goes to watch the olympics
