hmm Kloden, he's a good bet there. I want Wiggins to win, but my head says he won't

i too want him to win, but as he's British, he probably won't
seriously though, it would be his most impressive victory on the road in his career, in my eyes, because everyone knows who he is up hills/mountains he's 148th at the start of this stage, so it doesn't take a genius to work out he's crap up them.
and this is a hilly TT so if he pulls this off then it would be very impressive, as i say Kloedon is my bet, if Wiggins doesn't win

wish i saw the motorbike incident, and the Cancellara one as well
have you seen the conditions of the road? they're horrible!!!
what I'm really looking forward to are the GC candidates. fair play to Bradley if he wins, congratulations , but I'll look at it the same way I looked at Zabriskie winning stages at the Giro and Tour in 2005: not much merit, since without the weather, he wouldn't have done it.
now let's wait for dSastre, the chicken and the rest...
the guy who will most likely be cursing the rain is Klöden. the rain makes it all unpredictable. in the dry, it would be Klöden in yellow most likely. |

your chance of winning that bet was 1 to the power of minus 30000000. somehow, you're having the amazing luck of the weather. enjoy the money. (Just don't spend it on another silly bet )

Hehehe silly bets are the best kind,no fun in betting on the favourites
So whats the weather forecast like for the rest of the afternoon?Kloden and Vino could look to take time out of Rasmussen!!
I hope Rasmussen has been practicing because in this weather we could have a repeat of his disasterous time trial |

forecast is rain for the rest of the day-
Vino will most likely risk everything. if he doesn't fall, he'll take time |

And T.Dekker and V. Gusev have been really fast at this point. Let's see if one of them can beat Wiggins.

Seems like T.Dekker has crashed -- so never mind about him. |

Impressive ride by Sylvain Chavanel 3rd on the first intermediate, 30 seconds after Wiggins. |

Chavanel is the older. the younger is a sprinter and rides for FDJ. Sylvain always starts fast, then fades.
meanwhile, the rain stopped. if it doesn't rain any more, Wiggins will most likely not win. but of course, the rain is unpredictable |

Charly Mottet's prediction for the GC after today's stage:
Kloden
Evans at 21 secs
Valverde at 35 secs
Contador 1 13
Rasmussen 1 25
Leipheimer 1 38
Sastre 2 09
Mayo (didn't get it...he spoke too fast)
Moreau 4 58
Vino 6 10
somebody should have told Charly that the spinach he's been smoking isn't realy spinach... |
