That would be a logical move by him.

Katusha renews with Ignatiev, Brutt, Galimzyanov and Eskov.
Galimzyanov is a no-brainer, and Ignatiev and Brutt are decent, i guess. Eskov I don't get it.
All the contracts are for only 1 year, as that's how long they have sponsorship for.

Vandborg is a solid man, i can live with that. LLS to Rabobank is interesting, mostly because he is interesting. Will anyone ever manage to unlock his "talent"? |

I doubt it, don't know whatever his contract last till next year. But he has already failed at Riis once and he seem to be happy at Footon.

If you mean by unlocking his talent, making him a GT contester, i guess we'll never see that...
Paris-Nice kind of races might be the highest possible for him. He can do a top 10 in GT, but i don't see him do top 3 or better. |

Me neither, however, for a long time he was heralded as the man to watch for the coming years. And we've seen him in good shape on climbs on several occasions. I'm excited to see what the change of scenery will do for him. |

Strange transfer. He was the French everlasting talent. Big hopes but never really shown much.
So for him it`s probably a step up. But I haven`t thought that a bigger team will give him a contract.
But maybe he will increase with Astana
Next year Kreuziger for the yellow and Gregorio for the mountains

Will Astana sign anyone who's not a climber?

That's very odd considering Brajkovic has a contract.

Increasing a climbers performance levels is easier than increasing a sprinters or a cobbler.
Lose weight + more O2. Simple. Non?

So? Shall every team sign 30 climbers and no one else?
They need a balanced team.
Specifically, I think they need sprinters. Davis sucks
