Absolutely correct.

With the reporters struggling a little - and understandably so - I wonder if there is anything those of us unable to report can do to help? I have no computer with which to play PCM, but if I can help with even little things like writing previews I'd be happy to. So yeah, let me know if anything can be done |

If it to write previews, count me in.
Shame I can't help reporting tough, don't have not even a decent computer to play with decent graphics in PCM. Plus, currently I have no hard drive space for PCM 12, wich is also a bummer. |

That's a good idea, saw you mention it before but SN didn't answer it. He's quite busy at the moment though so I doubt anything can be arranged for now.
Something that could be done in future though, maybe PM him and wait for a response.

Not sure if doing the race previews would make sense.
You don`t have the startlists and so can`t see who is participating there.
Plus bringing up previews wouldn`t make sense if there is no reporter to report the race soon after that then.

Someone could take screens of all the startlists, would take a while though. Also they'd need to be added to the reporter's area.
The other one doesn't matter though. Couldn't they just go in the Spoiler Warning thread or something? |

It just feels like we take a lot and give nothing back, so I wanted to see if there was anything we could do to help the reporters |

Sure, they could go to the spoiler warning thread.
But then again the preview is what costs the less time I think. Not sure if it`s worth to share this really.
I for example like to write the previews for my own reports to get a better overview who is starting, which helps me to write the reports. |

Absolutely the same here, it familiarises me with the startlist and makes me pay attention to the big favourites.

In case someone is interested in the ManGame or you have a lot of questions how the game works and what is needed to be or become a manager, you can now read a great FAQ written by Aidan. Thanks to him for that. Also thanks to Kami, whos 2011 FAQ will be replaced by the newer version.
You can find it in the sticked thread of the "Rules and Announcement" forum or by clicking the link directly:
https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=32087
Please note, that this does not mean, that we look for new applications at the moment. The season still takes some weeks/months. It`s just an update of the FAQ`s.
As soon as the season comes to an end, there will be an application thread.

For you or anyone else:
Earlier in the season Spilak23 was keeping track of all the victories in the year. He had a thread which has not been updated in a while, so Im not sure if he kept it up or not, but I am guessing that it probably hasnt been.
At the end of the season Ill need an Excel table that looks something like:
Rider ID | First Name | Surname | Team | Total Wins | GT Stage Wins | PT Stage Wins | PT Overall Stage Race/Classic Wins | HC Stage Wins | HC Overall Stage Race/Classic Wins | C1 Stage Wins | C1 Overall Stage Race/Classic Wins | C2 Stage Wins | C2 Overall Stage Race/Classic Wins | Points/KoM Jersey wins
So basically a note of stage wins, or GC/one day wins split by category, as well as any Points/KoM jersey wins.
Its something that could be done by anybody, since all the details just come from the already posted reports. So if anybody wants to organise this count then please do!

Do you just need the number of each category or the names of the races also? |
