Lokvist has surprised me, but i don't think he will keep this up for the entire Giro.
Althought i hope he does his in my fantasy giro team |

I think in the mountain stages with multiple climbs and the real though, steep ones, Lövkvist will get intro trouble. Today he almost cracked as 6th/7th, but luckily nobody helped Basso. Most of the favourites are still trying to save as much strength as possible for the 61km TT and the final mountain stages, if you keep that in mind, and see Lövkvist is already at the limit, you know enough I think.
This is in no way an 'attack' on Lövkvist btw, he did great and suprised me and many others by doing so well so far. |

just saw the last metres, great move by Menchov there, also Ten Dam kept it up pretty good.

Congrats to Menchov! Really strong sprint.
PS
Look at Wiggins he finished today in 22nd position, and yesterday he finished 35th!
Perfect!
Now he is 25th in GC!

Nice for Di Luca to win the jersey....he'll lose it tomorrow.
Why?
Tomorrow's stage is a typical transitional stage. 95% chance a break wins by 15 mins and takes the jersey.
And if LPR try to keep the jersey this early, they're idiots.

According to the commentator, Pozzovivo's in the front group
Sastre and Menchov not looking good.
Now, tell me, I do wonder why you thought that? I mean, if he was riding in the back, you know that says nothing about Menchov, because as far as I recall, he always does that.
Quite. But when I saw Ten Dam not with him, it was obvious Ten Dam had been given carte blanche to ride for himself.
Which, given Menchov's form seems a bit stupid.
So I thought there had to be a logical coherent reason, like Menchov not being so well.
But no, it was just Rabobank being Rabobank.

Looking at Lovkvist, Wiggins and Cunego, I'm going to go with the optimistic route and say "I do believe cycling is cleaner"
