It's Rasmussen. Nobody is more paranoid about weight. Mechanics have complained that he constantly nags them to make his bike lighter.
He doesn't let his hair grow because of the hair's weight.
Trust me, he'll be skinny as ever.
Exactly, on mountains stages he only have one bottle holder, and he doesn't have bottles on his bike when going uphill.

No it isn't broadcasted anywhere sadly . But it is one of the hardest ever. Stage 1 will end on a 13 km crit with a 1 km 6% hill leading up to the finish line, so the GC guys will have to stay near the front.
Stage2 ends with a hilly but easier crit than stage 1 so the sprinters might take this one.
Stage 3 ends with the "legendary" crit in Vejle with the 200 meter up to 22% hill "Kiddesvej" making this the hardest stage of the race, and the GC can't risk looksing to much time here.
Stage 4: a short 115 km stage most likely ending in a sprint.
Stage 5: a short TT decinding the GC
Stage 6: final stage to Frederiksberg Allé in Copenhagen whihc will be the final test for the sprinters, and the points jersey may be decided here.

I'm thinking 3 stage wins for Breschel
The climb to the finish line tomorrow is really hard. I did it today on my way to the MTB Route in Rebild. Or well I did it from the downhill side, but I went down pretty fast
Seems perfect for Breschel. He won't get rid off the strongest hilly riders, but he will destroy them on the final metres.

I wouldn't count Simon Gerrans out on this one either. And on sprinter stages I think Saxo Bank will ride Alex Rasmussen.

Harry Potter gets testicular cancer. No really!
Anyway, on topic again, the tour of Denmark. I got a great place to watch the fourth stage as someone i know lives right on the route. Just a shame it wont matter since Saxo Bank will win for the umpteethn time...

Also notable: The guy in the ugly mint-green behind Gerrans is Martin "failed-at-CSC" Pedersen, who has been having an amazing season after he has started to focus more on classics, he is now able to get top results in hilly races.

That's what he did at CSC too. He failed miserably then, despite being extremely highly rated.
Think of Rasmus Guldhammer right now. He can't possibly bust and become a crap rider, can he?
Well, Pedersen "couldn't" either.
Corollary: be very careful about hyping youngsters. |

[sarcasm]But Guldhammer is the other ugly mint-green in the picture he is unfailable![sarcasm end]
He hasn't failed as badly as Mads Christensen though...

Well Rasmus Guldhammer. Wont say he cant go on to do big things in the future. But he's going to at least two big breakthroughs to get even remotely close to hit the world elite. First he needs to prove that he can even ride with on a ProTour team. THEN he needs to actually do well at that level too, and thats a whole 'nother breakthrough as well.
5-10 years. Then maybe we will see him in the ProTour. And thats a huuuuuuuge maybe.

I don't think you can even establish that corollary without mentioning Remmert Wielinga... |
