Oh yay. On Danish we have a word called 'skyklapper'...

GB is the best track cycling nation at the moment, not on the road Wink

Britain is not, even far from, the best on the mountainbike, in cyclocross and bmx either. So doddy quite overdid it indeed Pfft

let's call it the emotion of the moment

We topped the medal table after the road races Pfft

But yeh, not the best cycling nation as a whole (Perhaps Top 10) - but definately the best track cycling nation.

But we can't deny it on the track of course

Ofcourse not Pfft

although i do hope bos somehow refinds his form and wins the sprint.

doddy13
i don't know. Bos is looking better and better every round, but Hoy is looking very strong as well. If it's a Hoy Vs Bos final i wouldn't like to bet either way Wink

Banana Go Marianne Vos! Grin she really was the best Pfft out of the 5 points races she has ever done she won 4 so it wasnt a real suprize. at least we got a gold medal on the track Grin I hope it motivates Kanis, Mulder and Bos for the sprint Wink

yeh... out of shape and crahing... and Mulder was a tactical disaster... both in the keirin and sprint...

at least Willy Kanis is through in the women's sprint pretty easy.

yeh... it is... goal was top 10 in the medal standings, which was a realistic goal, but it seems more and more impossible to make it now...

GB team pursuit 3:53 and again a new world record. of course they couldnt lose this Pfft I have to say both GB and denmark rode well. no gaps, good relays. something the dutch couldnt with Mouris instead of Terpstra...

really happy with everything on the track today.

Obviously with the Team Pursuit and the sprints. The brits showing how strong they are.

Also really pleased with Vos in the points race, i think when romero gets more of them in her legs she can begin to think about medals. As it is that was only her 2nd points race, ever.
