itunes sucks, thats why i don't use it anymore, amazon MP3 is better, anyway when apple anounced yesterday that itunes has gone drm free i assumed all my songs were drm free now as well. Well yes, and no. Here's the catch, if you buy a new song it's automatically DRM free, which is good. However if you already have the song and have had for however long they want you to pay to get rid of the DRM. 20p per song, which adds up.
Anyway Amazon MP3 is cheaper, launched in December, my music comes from there now.
In other news my whole daily walk to/from school is solid ice, dangerous and currently bloody anoying.
And now my rant is over, thank you for reading.

It sucks that iTunes have the cheek to want people to pay 20p more to get songs thyeve already bought from Itunes DRM free. |

Im the moral highground. Unless its an artist i like and want to support, i know i can get the music on YouTube, albeit not in the highest quality, but if it can be hammered into an .mp3...

it adds up to, in my itunes which has about 10 songs now, new account and lost all the old songs, it's £2,20 and i can't buy them one by one, i have to pay for them all.

I never understood people who use(d) iTunes. You need to have an iPod, and if you one day realise that iPods are (over)hyped, and that other media players are better, you're going to lose all your music.
Plus, there's several other restrictions on music bought from iTunes. Plus, iTunes, the program, is very unstable, takes a lot of RAM ressources and is in general bad to work with.
And the worst thing is that there's plenty of good alternatives. People, wake up. |

I just buy my music from the shops, its a afun experience to buy albums. I come home and rip it onto Windows media player, there i have a huge library which looks visually good and is easy to work with. |

I prefer buying my music in the shops aswell, it's nice just to be able to show your albums to the world (or the people that accidentily goes into your room instead of the toilet), and then I do as Smothie just that I have my music in winamp.
