You should be OK since you have about 200k to spare plus the money in the bank is about the same as the as the sponsors pay. Make sure you check rider wages.
Just use excel.
Balance + Sponsor Revenues - Rider wages - Staff wages = leftover money.
The 36k is monthly, right? That is 432k a year
Yeah..right
My riders bill actually is 540,500..and i just counter back which leave only minus 9k
And my staff wages about 52k/month..and that without attending training camps..is that necessary? |

Welll I'm now in July with Accent Jobs - Wanty, and I'm still top of the continental rankings, seeing as Pro Tour promotion is on the cards I'm strengthening the team.
My main target Monfort renewed his contract so I've got 3 stagiares coming, as well as Tom Jelte Slagter, Barry Markus, Dries Devenyns, Jens Keukeleire and Julien Vermote and a couple of others. |

Well, my season has been going slowly and so far it's still February.
I sort of divided the team in 3. On side will be lead by Barry Markus and that is it. It will be a clear cut sprint squad, nothing more, nothing less. All the other riders will be on board to work for him. So far no races. They only start in March.
The climbing side has Elisonde, Fernandez and Morton and some other helpers. Mainly Elisonde is expected to be the spearhead, but should opportunity arise the others will also get a chance. Only one race to stretch the legs.
As for the other squad, It's a bit of a mix of sprint and hill talent. Van Poppel, Enger and Jungels are the main contenders for some spotlight and they should all have a go at times. Poppel already scored a couple of podiums and some top 10's. Jungels also did something nice. These guys will mainly go for flat stages and some breakaways.
The team is a bit short, but they will be interlocking a bit. With some staff I'm expecting them to show us more by the end of the season and, should a miracle occur, get promoted.
Another one of those boring international under 25 teams. It would be much more interesting to finally see some more balanced custom team.
Btw, started a career with Belkin, don't know how the fuck I ended choosing that team. |

Realised my first HTC team was to overpowered so restarted it with a lot of changes.
Team: Cavendish, T.Martin, Goss, Phinney, Kwiatkowski, Mezgec, Konig, Dowsett, Kennaugh, Nerz, Rowe, Gretsch, Busche, Ewan, Bookwalter, Grabsch, Keough, Boswell, Mohoric, Zabel, Morton, Herklotz, Yates, Yates, Rathe, Thurau, Brown, Flakemore, Lovelock-Fay, Domagalski
It's better, but it's not perfect. Quite fun so far as we are not dominating. Still only February so we'll see when the WT really kicks off.
And if that doesn't work out, set up another team. The team is Discovery Channel, but nothing to do with regions (i just like the jersey). Nope, ALL riders are OVER 32!
Team: Henderson, Rogers, Hushovd, Lancaster, Nocentini, Hayman, Kloeden, Tosatto, Millar, Voigt, Hinault, Hunter, Zabriskie, Vande Velde, Elmiger, F.Rodriguez, Tiralongo, Kroon, Pate, Quinziato, Grabsch, Flahaut, R.Rogers, Tankink, Rasch, George, House, Day
It's an interesting team. We can do everything, but we are certainly not going to win everything. Looking for Top10's in Flanders and Ardennes. GT's are tough to plan but it's going to be stage wins and maybe sneak a top10.
Decided that i will stick with this plan of only signing over 32's. It's going to be different

@I_Mayo I agree with you, I don't like teams overpowered with talents and overflowed with nationalities either.
Oh, and I agree with your team choice

Knew you would appreciate my choice. Kelderman will be co-leader for Vuelta btw. |

Oh oh, the Kelderman thread is back...
And I agree about the U25 teams. If you look back through this thread and the 2012 GCD thread, there are numerous examples. All with various combinations of Demare/Ewan/Durbridge/Elissonde/Jungels/*insert talented rider here. |

Nah, 1 post about him doesn't make it a thread about him
Also, tbh, TMM's team is also a bit talent-overpowered. Of course, I'm talking about his second team, not his first

Gam_Career_Data(finan_i_solde) for the balance, and dyn_sponsor for the sponsor budget. Editing the latter has perks, for example, your finance will be more stable(you'll gain instead of lose money each month), and your wage budget for the next season will be bigger.

I've started a pure custom career, the team is obviously a development team. All the riders are scouted, my goal is to be a World Tour team withing 4 years, and hopefully win a GT within 5 years
When my team is hopefully established as one of the best teams, I'll continue with signing young riders and turn them into stars. I rarely sign any good riders, only helpers if needed
The team is not very strong, but Luigi Casu, Antonin Autret and Hector Garcis Sanchez will be my "captains".
The team is a spanish-italian team, Telefonica - Saeco, so I'll obviously my upcomming pack.
This is how my team looks like:

Yes, Lachi's editor. You can decide yourself which one you want to edit. I'd personally just edit Dyn_sponsor, yes.

My Team Gatorade Continental squad, probably a bit too OP but I'm not the best of players
5 victories so far, top 10 in San Luis with Craddock, some nice sprints with Ewan even with Daniel Lloyd as lead out sometime |

In my career Team Sky have gone full spas signing Cavendish, Sagan and Démare.
I missed out on promotion to Androni by a very small margin, leaving me with this squad for the season, expectations are high, hoping to get that promotion this year!

Yeah, for a CT team, that's definitely overpowered...
@Anderspcm That's a nice challenge!

@Anderspcm That's a nice challenge! Yeah, I think it is funny to build up a team from scratch I just got my first victory with Lemasson(like you know him), but he managed to keep the peleton behind on the opening stage of the Settima..... race

Each trainer has a number of points in each speciality. The more he has, the more riders with that type of training develop. So you can develop multiple types of riders with same trainer, just remember that a trainer can train up to 8 riders.
