Probably the right decision in his first pro year and such a hard Giro. He wouldn`t survive the first 1-2 mountain stages in the time limit.

kumazan
Absolutely. He's being dropped in speed bumps in Turkey, no way he could make the time limit in Etna, for instance.

Cadel isn't quite in the shape he need for the tour for example. As I saw this week, he had big problems on stage 3 (won by Cunego) on that 1st category climb, he was almost dropped. He then recovered on the downhill and sprinted on that little hill in last km. He cant be in top form after an injury but is still enough to WIN. Very nice! I really hope this year he will finally do something again in the Tour, he really deserves it.
PS1: He will be second in the UWT, after Gilbert.
PS2: What happened with LL Sanchez ? Even Weening is faster than him.

Weening rode the 6th fastest time of all GC contenders, who had to ride in bad wind (Weening too)..

So, that says a lot more about Weening really. He's in good shape

And Brutt managed to stay inside the top-10, he must be happy with that.

Let it be like that, I'm bored with those spanish and italians...ozi rulz Grin !

Andrew Talansky continuing to ride well. Excited to see how far he can go!

If Talansky didn't screw up his prologue he would've fought for the overall actually

Very true! And he did well in Tour of Med earlier in the year. I think he will be better then Stetina/Van Garderen

Yes! Finally a stage win for Swift. He has really showed his potential this year. I'm looking forward to see him in the future.

And in Turkey, Van Hummel won ahead of Greipel and Petacchi. There was a big crash, were Miyazawa fell, and looked in pain. :/

He is gonna be Sky sprinter in ToC so you will see him soon Smile

At last Sky perfected the lead outs. Also Geraint Thomas in my opinion is becoming the best lead out in the peleton.

Rick Zabel and Degenkolb are going to be awesome. Smile

kumazan
If the guy has half of his father's talent, he's indeed going to be great.

ruben
Matthews was boxed in and actually didn't even sprint, just kept the wheel and was trying to look for a way to pass.

A shame, I think he had a very good chance to win if he had some more help from Rabobank, they didn't have any guy near him in the final 2k

The race in Cologne isn´t a very important race for juniors. Just have a look at those qho finished 10th or worse and you´ll see that there were only four really good juniors plus one Dutch rider. Today´s race was indeed one of the most important for juniors.

Really nice win for Degenkolb today. I think Matthews was faster but his position was too bad to win.

Highlights of Tour de Romandie. Nice shot in the replay, four sky riders including Swift celebrating before the line. Also at 4:48 Sutton looked to be trying to kiss Swift Pfft

Any sign of a better video? That one has the early build up then suddenly cuts to the closing metres, bit annoying

Nice sprint by Swift. A few more meters and I think Vigano would have caught him, though. Pfft
