Not to forget van Garderen and !!!Roy Sentjens!!! as 30th with 2min back
Great ride by Van Garderen too, but I got more impressed Velits who is known as a sprinter/puncheur.
He was already 32nd in TdF. He might be a puncheur with good climbing and good sprinter skills. Quite similar to N.Roche actually.
Roche once said: Either I am a bad sprinter who can climb, or a bad climber that can sprint quite well!
The 2nd Caisse rider was Bruseghin and not Arroyo. Arroyo lost about 3 min today.

I see
But Nibali will lose 2 minutes on La Covadonga and another 1.30 on Bola del Mundo.
Those are much thougher climbs and if he tries to hang with it and blow there, it's byethebye.
So no. Nibali is not going to win unfortunately.
Anton is not going to win GC. He can't |

If he continues like this the only things that can stop him is a bad day or not having enough time to Nibali in the TT.

Where is that group of people that laughed at me when I claimed F.Schleck would not win the vuelta and would have a hard time to even get to the final podium?
Where is that group of people that laughed at me when I claimed that Nibali would come up short when trying to follow Anton or Mosquera on an actual climb?
Where is that group of people that laughed at me when I gave Anton 81 MO and made him one of the strongest climbers in the PCM Daily DB?
Come on people.
I want to hear it.

I don't blame you. I was actualy pessimist..when I thought about Anton after amazing 2007 (Kasechkin-Vino Vuelta). I thought he will be one of them who will fail (Gerdeman, Dekker (sry. ruben) etc.)..when we go stronger with fight against doping.
But this Vuelta has been so far more then amazing for him

Don't get me wrong, I'm not an Anton fan by any means.
I've only done some predictions before the Vuelta which were not generally accepted, at all, they were even laughed at.
But now it turns out I was pretty damn accurate with my predictions. So I'm having my moment
You may be fan of Anton since 1906 i don't mind |

Ruben, Ruben ... that wasnt for you. That was for these untrue fans, who will forget about Anton if he fails at some point.
And remember that now all say "Ruben, you are right" but i was the one that said it in one of the first Vuelta thread pages. |

But we know how those fans are. That's why I've looked Cunego fans, Schleck fans, Armstrong fans, Contador fans, etc. with suspicion and generally don't give them much credit.
You just know 95% of them will jump to the next rider who does well.

i don't think that's fair in my case...
I think i've been a good fan of Cunego
And i haven't jumped even though he is doing bad...
I've liked Anton for a while... well since his Vuelta win in 06... but i wouldn't say i was a fan...
Bruseghin is back the big donkey.... something's happened to him haha... maybe they've changed his feed

I was ready to make a note for isso that he is forgeting Wyman. Wyman is little hysteric and fool enough to keep up as Cunego fan. (no offence..this is a compliment)
But isso sayed that 95% will jump..so Wyman you must be Ãnside that 5%
