I'd say that was ok, if you want to check have a look at other comments in HQ's
Better to wait for SN's opinion though |

Yeah, but what's spam? I mean, I'm very unaware of the Man-Game but I just saw someone reporting the race in his headquarter and I just wanted to post that the team did well in the race and that they still have a good fighting chance for the GC, like you'd post in a story, or is that considered spam in the Man-Game? Like I said, I'm unfamiliar with it, so it's best I ask here first before posting.
Most managers would be glad for kind words and attention towards their team HQ, at least if it's in a manner like that, I think spam in MG is pretty much like the spam in the forum generally. If people outside the game give genuine and positive comments regarding the ManGame and their teams, that's just a nice addition to the game.
But, hey, wait, aren't you the PMC Daily's spammer of the year? |

Who, me?
No, seriously, despite what some may claim, I'm not looking to spam this forum in any way. So I4m also not looking to spam the Man-Game. It just interests me, because of the lengthy reports, RPG-aspect and it just seems like a nice experience, so I've been catching up on it lately and I just thought I'd maybe post in some HQs if something good happened for their team, things like that |

As Bjartne says, while HQ threads dont take as much effort as the Reports themselves, its nice for managers to receive some feedback on their thread so it doesnt feel like time wasted.
But bear in mind that the main place to discuss races as they take place is in the Discussion threads for that race.
they still have a good fighting chance for the GC
Imo, depends if youre just saying that just to say something nice, or if youre saying that because you also have at least some knowledge of the competition in the race.

Okay I get what you mean
I'll follow the races a bit longer before posting in any HQ, so I get to know the teams, riders and their stats a bit better so I don't post anything prematurely and false (because I understand stats in the Man-Game can be quite different from reality). Thanks! |

Well, I've never been involved in any Man-Game or so, but I guess next season is a long way down, so if I start to follow it from a distance now, and try to catch up, fully understand it, I might fill in an application next season. (but that's no guarantee for joining, since there are only limited spots, I understand) |

@Ian I'm in the same situation. It looks really fun and I've thought about applying multiple a few months ago, but I didn't, since I was very busy by then...
I'm following it anyway, and understand the basics now I guess..

Ian (and anyone else who wants to join the game) you don't have to have any knowledge of the game to apply. I applied knowing nothing on my third day on here with no idea how to play, it just looked fun so I applied.
You can learn as you go along it's really easy even if you join the game two months late like me |

Froome, you kinda wrong. Don't forget, me and you only entered this game because there we're people that literally give up at this. Fyi, you need to know stuff to enter this game. |

Miguel, I know many successful people wrote in their apps that they had no knowledge of the game but they could learn as they go along

The one there still doesn't have changes made after comments by several people. Like me I trained Oelerich to 72 hill, but he shows 71 in the db in that thread. Thought I had an updated one, but can't find it anymore.

Seeing as we are about as far from seasons end as when the suggestions for new riders thread went up last year (at current pace, maybe nearer), are suggestions now needed? And if so, should the old thread be used?
Hope I don't come across as impatient, just trying to help. |

That thread went up towards the end of the ManGame Tour de France last year, so we're not exactly at a similar position just yet
And when the time comes, itll be a new thread
