Columbia not only won tage 1 of Tour of Austria with Greipel, today Albasini finished first on top of the "Kitzbühler Horn" (tough climb with 7,7km in 12,4% average)

He won out of a big escape group that formed early in the race. and there are not much other good climbers around apart from Kessiakoff, Cobo Acebo and Seeldrayers.
Giampaolo Caruso (Ceramica Flaminia) 2nd, Ruslan Pidgornyy (ISD) 3rd.

Pieter Weening wins the 3rd stage in the Tour of Austria. He caught early escaper Leonardo Bertagnolli 500m before the finish line on a cat2 mountain finish, with before that the climb to the Grosclockner (2500m, HC).
Suprising! |

There is a race in Canada for Juniors with a funny name Le tour de l'Abitibi. Looks like an Austrian won (I assume Autriche is either french or Austrian for Austria)
https://www.tourabitibi.qc.ca/images/d...1_6895.pdf
What is important though is 8th place, My teammate Ryan, who is one of 5 guys representing the US at Worlds. 15th 16th, 64th 88th are also guys from my area.
I suppose Deadpool will claim victory though, his teammate was 6th.

Not me, its like icecreamtester whose teammate was sixth.
I don't see any of my teammates, most of them were getting good results at Fitchburg and Red River Gorge |

2nd stage in the Sachsen Tour won by Sebastian Langeveld
He escaped with 2 others and dropped them 300m from the line, peloton was close behind where Paul Martens won the sprint for 2nd place, so a 1-2 for Rabo |

On a site note, after Sinkewitz won a Stage and the yellow jersey the only rider congratulating him was Dirk Müller. The rest of the peloton didnt even sprint for second place in protest against Sinkewitz. Greipel took his hands of his handlebar and clapped his hands when crossing the finish line.
Looks like someone made to much trouble in happy land cycling
Thats how cycling works. |

Has anyone seen any photos or videos of Rassmussen lately? I mean after over two years away from the sport, he could have changed as a rider (at his age I could see him being quite a bit heavier). |

There's some images of the race in the photo gallery of the newspaper that I'm working at. Included one of them here.

It's Rasmussen. Nobody is more paranoid about weight. Mechanics have complained that he constantly nags them to make his bike lighter.
He doesn't let his hair grow because of the hair's weight.
Trust me, he'll be skinny as ever. |
