Wow. In such a cobbled race, I wouldn't expect Gary at the front! |

HALFORDS TOUR SERIES - ROUND 1 - KIRKCALDY
Davis/Node 4 Giordana is the first rider to show himself at the front of the race
We have five riders at the front just about to be reeled in after a failed attempt to get away
Nine riders have become the first successful break to get over a minutes advantage on the peleton, in this group are Coledan/Colnago-CSF Inox, Cummings/BMC Racing, Reynes/Lotto Belisol, Mayer/Team NSP Ghost, Salas/Team Optum, Horton/Team Raleigh, Cusin/Team Type 1, Debusschere/Lotto Belisol and Wilson/Orica GreenEdge
It lasted for several laps gaining nothing more than a minute and ten seconds until it was eventually reeled back in by the pack, but as you can see the weather has taken a turn for the worse so we may be in for some eventful racing before the finish
Brutt/Katusha and Debusschere/Lotto Belisol have got a small advantage as the race nears its climax
Brutt/Katusha has just nine seconds lead and is the only rider left to be caught
Konovalovas of Movistar has sprung a great attack that has caught everyone by surprise
And he hangs on for a great victory here in Round one of the Halfords Tour Series here in Kirkcaldy in Scotland

Jakstar22 - It was nice to get amongst the points in our first outing in this competition
SSJ2Luigi - Yes , It is a team based competition, you first three riders to cross the line score points and then are added together to see who comes out on top
Michaeljohn - Yes as stated above

The scoring table is easy
1st = 10pts
2nd = 9pts
3rd = 8pts
4th = 7pts
5th = 6pts
6th = 5pts
7th = 4pts
8th= 3pts
9th = 2pts
10th = 1pt |

Some big name coming to the Halfords series!
Hope the guys aren't using Halfords materials, if so they will be lucky to finish the race. |

Seems like interesting race for the team. I expect something from Serebryakov (in the sprints)
