That would be a great deal but I can't see how Chelsea can accept it. They may be forced to as Drogba really wants to go to Barca but that would be a bad deal for them.
They need a big strong forward with pace, not a silky fast forward. But maybe Anelka and Henry can work togethor.

Sporting 2-0 Porto
We had all the chances, did everything to win the game.....and they scored all the goals. It's frustrating when it happens.
God knows why our goalkeeper was left on the field injured the whole game. He was clearly not fit.
And of course no rant would be complete without mentioning the referee negatively
One of their goals was offside and we were denied a clear-as-water penalty. very frustrating.
Quaresma keeps on sucking. it's been a year since he was last in form. Oh well...at least Hélder Barbosa finally got a game and we're leading the league by a few light-years.
We're screwed against Schalke.

Let me discord on that question...we are at the middle of championshio, so I can't take that argument, and Porto has a easier schedule in the first quarter of the season than Benfica or even Sporting, in my opinion...

We've played against Braga and Sporting and you haven't. Our games against the other decent teams are all at home. how is that not easier from here on?

Do you really think that playing at home or away continues to be an advantage in ths championship, at least in the big stadiums? To me, the most difficult places are Choupana and Paços de Ferreira due to the tiny fields.

1. we won't have to play in either. we've played there already.
2. Those "tiny fields" are myths. RTP did a story on that recently. Both fields have perfectly normal dimensions. Braga has the smallest one in the league.

it's because the stands are so very close to the endlines
Now do you see why I say we have a much easier calendar?

Well, maybe...but I think Porto will suffer to the end of the championship, if Jesualdo continues to take that bad options...

Putting Hélder Barbosa too late...Mr. Overrated continues to deserve his nickname.
But Tonel and Polga did such a game...No chance!

meh...Barbosa is too green, it wasn't too late. His idiocy was starting in 4-4-2. there was no conceivable reason to do that.

Unfortunately, there is only one Pierluigi Collina.
And he's retired

And talking about the penalty, you must mean the Lucho's one? Lisandro continued to play, so they can't mark any penalty.

I mean the time Quaresma was brought down hard by Ronny. It was during the time when the image was skipping so nobody saw it live. They showed it after the game on the news.
I don't remember Lucho being brought down, but there's no advantage law inside the box. even if the team scores, it's still a penalty.

David Beckham has been left out of Fabio Capello's first England squad to play Switzerland on 6 February.
It means Beckham will be left still searching for his 100th cap, although Capello has not fully closed the door on the 32-year-old former captain.
The Italian dropped Beckham because of doubts over his match fitness.
Keeper Paul Robinson has also been left out of the 30-man squad, while Aston Villa's Curtis Davies and Gabriel Agbonlahor win their first call-ups.

Also, Tottenham newboy, Woodgate, is injured already. He really has no luck with injuries
They hope it's only 2 weeks

I remember his Real Madrid debut still. He'd spent months out injured, then comes in, scores an own goal and gets sent off. Classic B)B)B)
And just give Beckham his century, I'd hate to see him leave with only 99
