Really sad that the 3 hours they showed track today, I was playing a football match, but there is more important things than TV.

I missed most of it as eurosport decided to show basically anything else....sigh.
I did hear from someone that Bos crashed. that being the case, I can guess Hoy won easily.

Brilliant stuff by the Brits. Wiggins, Burke, Newton, Hoy and Edgar
Nobody was ever going to beat Chris Hoy in the keirin and while its unfortunate for Theo Bos that the Polish guy crashed infront of him, I kinda lost sympathy when he moved himself back onto the track to try and stop the race. It worked, but due to the rules it didnt help his cause. I dont know whether he missed the 7-12 race through injury or if he just didnt care, but if he is even slightly injured it would be annoying as it will provide an excuse should he be beaten in the Sprint.

Bos crashed yes, thats what you get when being at the back. It would have been the same results though if Bos had not crashed. |

I know, but Edgar will give good in the fantasy olympics compared to his cost in points

Great ride by Hoy - with the way Hoy was going, I don't think Bos had a chance against him, Bos didn't look that impressive in his heat

For people who can't watch it on TV this link maybe work.
https://www.eurovi.../olympics/
It should work for people in Europe. Now they are showing Track cycling on EBU Channel Live 6. |

Definately - he didnt feature in the Team Pursuit team and I somehow doubt they were saving him for a later round, not after his Individual Pursuit efforts
Also apparantely while making their way to the Velodrome, a police car cut across a few of the Dutch riders and left Niki Terpstra with a broken arm

Dutch track cycling is really really bad this tournament...
I really hope Vos can make this all up and win the points race. Not only to make up the track losses, but also the road race she f*cked up...
at least we already got 3 medals today... one gold and two silver |
