It was supposed to be super cold (around 0 during the day time) here (I can hear our Nordic friends laughing thousands of km from here) during the first half of the week, but in the end it's raining since this night so the temperature is more like 5-6°C...
Say I had just cracked and eventually turned the heating on. |

It's cold enough to snow here. What a good day to take the car to the university. |

On the other hand we don't get to play with the snow or make snowmen unless we take a trip to the interior...
For us portuguese people the winter is just some months where it rains more often
it doesnt have that white scenery that fits the Christmas season that you see every morning
We almost make a party when we see ice faling from the sky which happens 1-2 times/ year in the litoral

Same for me, actually, except today where I'm at the university to comment on someone's project. After that, I've holiday again until the 15th of January where I have my first and last exam. When that's done, I'm off again until the 2nd of February. |

Home now, it's just -12 now. Actually I'm looking forward to the cycling season, which started for me in end of february when there was 2--5 degrees and no snow. Well, in the summer I will spend four weeks in the alps and the dolomites Let's hope that there will be hot, not like when I rode Passo Stelvio in 2007, too much snow and cold downhill |

Go to Danish/german border, and then go 400 KM north
