Seems like Cavendish is going to Sky; Atleast Wiggins is reported to talk about next years Tour might end up beeing all about Cavendish getting the green jersey

In the Cycling Quotient transfer overview, he's already confimred (doesn't have the '???' next to his name). But I hope this change will confirm Cardoso's talent, where I think he can be the main sprinter and shine in the Spanish races. |

Funny. Some time ago Wiggins was saying it will be difficult for Cavendish to be on for both in le Tour and Olympics. I thought by that Brad was dumping track ambitions and going for Tour and hopefully Olympic TT. I'd really like if Cav skipped/took easy at the Tour so that Wiggo could have full support.

Wiggins has been throwing off some varying comments about the Tour recently, but one things for sure, he is targeting the Tour next year, and he thinks he can win it - or at least, he says he can win it. (I dont think he can, but hey, why not).
It was only a week ago that he was suggesting that Cavendish might not be able to do the TDF in full and be at his best for the Olympics, but i think that was a bit of wishful thinking. Cavendish will be at the Tour, and the only way I see him leaving the race is if he falls outside the time limit behind the Grupetto.
That will be one of Sky's biggest challenges next year, the balance of Wiggins and Cavendish. They wont be devoting to Cav as HTC did, but other teams may still want them to take on the HTC-amount of responsibility on the flat.
