Any time, let us know if you have any more questions, there are a fair few talented guys on here with training tips I'm sure.
Well there it is, carrera TDF rx. It rides like nothing ive ever rode before and i'm straight in riding to a similar level to wheer I left off a few years ago if not a bit better. It is easier to ride than I thought a road bike would be aswell.
If anyone knows of some good cycle routes around yorkshire/ west yorkshire then that would be great. |

I've settled on a frame for next year. The BMC Racemaster. First off it is one of the stiffest frames out there, and everyone who has it says it is superb, and everyone who got a team machine wishes they had gone for the Racemaster. Unlike many companies, BMC is actually lowering prices this year, with a BMC Racemaster equipped with SRAM force being just 3000$.

Right on dude I love mine but we've discussed this already lol. How did you manage to get the frame and Force for just 3k? Sponsor deal or are you getting JUST the frame and Groupset because bars and saddle and wheels and all that stuff would make it significantly more retail wise. I got mine with all the accessories for like 2800 i think with the team deal.

I hit at car at 30mph and only walked away with a fractured nuckle cuts n bruises, sore arm and a few stitcheson my chin. I had to go hospital in a neckbrace and back board though. No cycling for me for at least 3 weeks now or I could do long term damage, but I am tempted to go for a ride |

Unlucky, i did something similar last year. Don't risk riding until you are better again. |

This morning I almost crashed over a dog Burghardt style
Only was the dog smaller and mainly smarter as it stopped walking just in time for me not to hit it.

Yeah. 12 degrees over here today. Good enough for me to go out, but it wasn't too good for my muscles not to wear long trousers cold wind. |

I've had many encounters with animals in my short time on the bike totaling 4 years or so.
-Ran into Geese (They literally will not move for anything and when there's a flock just around a corner and you've just finished a downhill sprint and there's a river on your right and a cement wall on the left, there isn't much choice)
-Raced Deer (Instead of running away this brilliant one ran right next to me, I had fun and sprinted with him.)
-Raced Dogs (Who hasn't? I do intentionally go by some big country farms with lots of unchained dogs to have a little sprint fun sometimes)
-Had a bird run into me while I was descending a mountain in South Carolina.
-Been threatened by a truck full of rednecks to "stop being such a faggot, or else." (I rode by them the other way and they honked and screamed and I ignored them, and yes I consider them animals of a sort )
Good Times,
Shifty

LOL!
I got a scar in my leg because of a little bird for two years ago... And driven down by a car and two days at hospital with several injuries May 2008. And I have one real crash each year, and my phone always breaks...
But now I have some "vacation" from training with just 10 hours a week, then I start with strenght training, winter cycling and cross country skiing(last one probably not much before December). Wowww I don't like it |

I once rode over a bunny. Luckily i managed to stay upright. Unfortunately the bunny was killed
I also was hit by a bird one time.
I also nearly missed a dog a couple of times.
For me the speedskating season has just started. So I won´t be doing a lot of cycling this winter. |
