apparently Pereiro hasnt got a broken femur, but this is coming from Versus so i wont believe it for now. Lang and it looked like Efimkin went down. They were abouyt 4 or 5 Ag2r riders pacing someone up, and I would assume it was Efimkin. I really hope Vandevelde isnt injured, but either way its still nearly certain that he wont be on his best today .

We shouldn't see that many differences today, I think. That said, with the rain, chances of a bad day for Menchov are considerably higher.

iso,
how much do you assume the riders weigh?
The calculations are done by cyclismag.com, all I did was compare the values between different riders and different races. I certainly didn't do the calculations, as I thought was obvious.
These powers are relative powers. they're adjusted for each rider's weight, so that they can be compared. In this case, they're adjusted to what they would be if every rider weighed 70kg.
well the calculation is just time*height climbed*weight so its not really that difficult
I think the powers are evaluated as if all the riders weighed 70 so if riders weigh less then their power outputs are actually lower i.e. Shleck weighs 65kg so his power is actually 401 Watts. Evans at 68 kg gave 396 Watts. I can look up more weights if you want but you get the idea.
Edit: and perrero has just got a broken shoulder according to letour.com

apparently all 7 Garmin riders in the peloton went down around Vandevelde
Pate realistically has no chance, but I can hope

you seemed to imply that the riders individual weights were used instead assuming they all weigh 70. But I have probably just confused myself.

I'm sad to say, that if normality is restored, MartÃnez will win this easily

CSC well placed to destroy the pack. O'Grady gave his all, then Cancellara. Next it's Voigt, then Gustov, then Andy. Frank is way behind. he was in his teammates' wheels just a minute ago.

Menchov is the unluckiest human being here, Schleck in yellow. Kohl third

Awesome stage for CSC, Frank in yellow, Carlos gained on all his opponents and Andy did an incredible job, he could've won this stage no doubt.

great ride by Pate, and solid by CVV
shame about Gerrans sitting on the whole way up and then coasting round him and Martinez
did it look like Evans had crashed too anybody? thats what Versus said.
