Mikael Cherel was one of six riders involved in a crash

Well, that has to go down as one of the worst performances i have ever been witness to, there was simply no go in any of the riders today, it was as though they just didn't want to be here today

We understand that Malcolm Elliott, Dean Downing and Chris Boardman have all been asked to attend a meeting with senior management at Eddie Stobart HQ where a discussion will take place regarding the future of the team.
Whilst results did show an improvement after the threat to pull out from sponsoring the team was issued, it is now a waiting game to find out whether Eddie Stobart Procycling will grace the road again next season.
The outcome will hopefully be revealed at the End of season Awards dinner

At the time of going to print there was no result available for the Estonian Championships

With the end of the season finally being reached the riders let there hair down by spending two weeks holiday with there families exclusively paid for by the team.
And once back the End of season awards were once again hosted, this time in the surroundings of the Chester Grosvenor Hotel in the north of England.

Special guest this year was former professional cyclist David Millar

Eddie Stobart representation was by Chief Executive Officer Alex Laffey

And after enjoying a luxury five course dinner the ceremony started with the award of Performance of the year.
This year the award went to Jaime Suaza for his win at the Colombian Venteaux

Young rider of the Year went to
Daniel Thorsen

And the big award of the night for Rider of the Year was not a suprise with the award going to Jaime Suaza

After a very disappointing season last year, there is only one way for Eddie Stobart to go and that is UP

As is the norm here we would like to present our Management side of proceedings.

Unfortunately a poor season usually ends up with riders being sacrificed and we are no different.
