Optimistic much This hasn't died just that we are waiting on the ......... oh who am i kidding.... yes this is pretty much dead now... I can keep trying to resuscitate it but frankly it's going to have some major brain damage...
Got a lot further than everything else of this nature and i certainly learned a lot about how to run a game.

@maxime
Pretty much yeah... i'm calling it done....
Too much of a fight to keep it going for me, and i've lost all motivation to keep up my parts. Too many people have dropped out and never seem to comment etc. And various other things etc. etc.
Basic Mistake: Too Big + Too Complex

So yeah, i'm calling time on this. It's been too much of a fight to keep going at times for me and every ounce of motivation i once had has been fully eroded away (missing 2 months of racing and rankings work did not help either).
This was too big and too complex in the end, even with the great help and work from several other people.
Was a lot of fun at times, lasted longer than all other things like this i can think of, so thats a result. I know i learned a lot about running a game, and i am already passing bits of this on. Hope everyone else took something away as well.
Can categorically say i won't be starting anything like this up again any time soon.
Sorry

Don't be sorry. You have put a ton of work into this, and we are all thankful for that.
It's sad to see it end, but it was certainly a fun game. |

Manx absolutely no need to be sorry. You put in a huge amount of work to try to keep this running. If anything some of us should be saying sorry for letting you waste all that time and energy... Sorry |

No need to be sorry TMM. Actually, we should thank you. This was a great project, shame it now ends so soon. But well, good things don't last forever. |

Yeah, I kind of saw this coming, unfortunately.
It was a lot of fun TMM, it's no problem, thanks for organising
Edit: I do want to know if I'm the winner(well, was leading the rankings) though

Suprised? No
Sad? Yes
Thank you very much TMM for sacrificing your time on this, but it was fun. I liked being a reporter, and I will surely miss all Danny Pate- and last place-jokes . I will miss writing Domino's Weekly, but I guess I can live without it.
Again, thank you very much
No, I'm not planning to write a Lotto-Belisol Weekly

Had nothing to do with your game. This has been on it's last legs for a very long time now
@all
Thanks, and it certainly was fun

Cancellara won it, with Flecha 2nd and Chavanel 3rd. Boonen and Boom were in the Top10 along with Pozzato.
A really large break (about 20ish riders) spent a long time ahead (about 100km) from early on to the start of the major cobbles.
Very quickly dropped to a small group of 20 favorites who battled away at a high pace.
Cancellara went early, around 40km to go. Boonen countered a few moves behind, before attacking with 15 to go, taking Flecha and Chavanel with him. The TLI duo attacked repeatedly until Boonen broke, but it was too late to catch Spartacus who won solo by about 45".
The Duo followed, with Tomoke about 30" behind them. 1'45ish late a group of 15 or so riders dashed for the minor placings.
(can't be bothered to write the full report...)
Top10
1st. Cancellara
2nd. Flecha
3rd. Chavanel
4th. Booen
5th. Nuyens
6th. Vansummeren
7th. Pozzato
8th. Boom
9th. Ballan
10th. Vanmarcke
