So who else thinks that tomorrow stage could turn out to be quite disappointing because they will all chicken out with the Angliru coming on Sunday?

Probably he intentionally lost time to be allowed to go for stage wins. |

What is up with Taaramae? He lost 18m330s yesterday, has he crashed or something?

He doesn't care about the overall and is saving energy to try and win a stage later in the race.

Nope. His form just sucks, so he has decided to abandon the Vuelta.

It must have been something sudden, before La Covatilla he was always there fighting for the win. |

Most likely, one of Radioshack's captains crashed, have no clue whether it was Brajkovic or Zubeldia though, but there were 5-6 riders waiting for him.

Oh boy, Vanmarcke with a crash that took him a long way down in the bushes, kind of epic pictures when he was climbing back, with the help of spectators.
Luckily, he's smiling
Edit: And Kroon went the same way, luckily, he's also looking OK.

My God! I believe we've just found a tribe of people living in the jungle, all dressed as cyclists!
All jokes aside, I'm glad to see that they were not hurt, not seriously atleast. |
