Enrico Rossi wins Dwars door Drenthe, but not in a sprint. He escaped together with Van Groen and afterwards beat him in the sprint. Also Coen Vermeltfoort is finally getting a good result again. He was out a long time with Pfeiffer.

Good to see someone other than Ricco winning for Flaminia.

Chaotic finish n Turkey - quite entertaining to watch.
Greipel, as expected, took the stage win, though. |

1 André Greipel (THR) 4:40:33
2 Angelo Furlan (LAM)
3 Claudio Cucinotta (DER)
4 Mattia Gavazzi (CSF)
5 Francisco Ventoso (CMO)
6 Michele Merlo (FOT)
7 Francisco Pacheco (KGZ)
8 Girgio Brambilla (DER)
9 Krzsysztof Jezowski (CCC)
10 Oscar Gatto (ISD)
Really great last 10 kilometres. Oscar Gatto with a quite good job after attacking still 10th in final sprint. But nobody with a chance against Greipel. Really good teamjob. But no Modolo or Chichi in Top 10, especially after Liquigas worked a lot in the end.

I'm wondering why Job Vissers was in the wheel of André Greipel in the sprint, and not another sprinter or Kenny van Hummel (although he tweeted he had 'the shits' )
Vissers isn't even a sprinter (which was more the visible in the actual sprint )

The final was quite difficult. I already thought Greipel did blow up when he made that counter attack to Visconti earlier on, on that climb in the final 10k.
Good effort by Visconti and Taaramae! |

Cofidis making this stage awesome.
I really like this race even though it often ends in a mass sprint. The riders tend to try to make it interested. Today is no exception. |

Visconti wins!
... and I think that Taaramae takes the leader's jersey. Still undecided, though. |

How the fuck do Cofidis manage to have 3 riders in a group of 5 and finish 3,4 and 5
That's even worse than Rabobank in Paris Nice 09. Lol. |
