So Isso which riders in the pro peloton aren't doped? Besides Casar and Monfort lol. Not saying I disagree that some riders are doped but you seem to think they all are. Call me optimistic but I'd like to think otherwise.
The director of the WADA-accredited Swiss Laboratory for Analysis of Doping in Lausanne, Switzerland, has told Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws that he believed there was still widespread doping in the Tour de France this year. "47 out of 189 riders raced on blood transfusions or EPO," Martial Saugy alleged. "We have been able to show this from the samples taken at the health controls."
Still, Saugy added that these test results did not fulfil the requirements to be declared as 'positive'. "It is appalling, but we find so many test results that undoubtedly point to manipulation," he continued. "But there is a big difference between a suspicious sample and one that can be declared positive."
Saugy also found indications for the use of testosterone and growth hormone. "Especially the latter product is very popular at the moment," he added. "As soon as there will be a water-proof test for growth hormone, it will show that 80 percent [of the peloton] is taking it. I am disillusioned: the use of growth hormone is as bad as was the use of EPO and blood doping in the 90's."

My bet is that the storm comes down to nothing.
Maybe 1 or 2 lower ranked riders get caught, but none of the big names. |

People cant be so naive and think that the top riders dont cheat. Stefan and Kohl cheated. Then probably the whole 07 tdf team did also. I Belive some more riders from saunier cheated. Top guy's will be taken. Your idols. Its just a mater of time. |

He's not saying they weren't doping, just that they won't be caught. |

So, if Evans hypothetically gets caught, what happens to the jersey? |

I think there too scared to ban contador if he is doping because he has won all 3 grand tours an TDF 2 times. I think they are scared of the uproar it will bring. |

Tomorrow at 9am GMT, but I seriously don't think it'll be about this re-resting. That's probably just the papers lying/mistaken.

What if they said that all 15 or the top 20 tested positive for CERA and they were disbanding the UCI and ASO because they saw no more hope for the sport's public image?
In all seriousness though, I hope they don't have much to say, if not for truth's sake then for the sake of cycling's image. I'm tired of the first two questions after telling people I'm a cyclist being 1.) So you're like Lance Armstrong? and 2.) Do you take steroids? Then again that could just be because I live in America.

No and No
Well I like Armstrong as a racer, Some think his racing was too controlled and it was but that's what I liked, he just had his way with everybody and totally dictated how the race would go usually, and things like the infamous stare down of Ullrich and just seeing him chase down guys who spoke out against him in a "Do I have your approval now daddy?" fueled temper tantrum. I like that kind of character who races to prove something to others but really to themselves. Which is why I'm reading "The Agony of Victory: When Winning Isn't Enough" which is a book about multiple prominent sports figures and their less than ideal upbringings that drove them to be so good yet feel so empty about it (First chapter is about Graeme Obree and one is about Pantani). I also like for better/worse that he's brought cycling to the public in America to some degree, even if it's just him and the tour.
But the question is usually "Are you like Lance Armstrong?" because they don't know any other cyclist to compare me to and only know cycling as a sport because of Armstrong. When in reality I'm nowhere near the caliber or the rider type he is.
More Of An Answer Than You Wanted, I'm Sure,
Shifty
