Le Tour 09: Stage 10 - Limoges - Issoudun
Cremalex
The only ones that will sleep tonight with their conscience clean will be Veaugrenard, Hupont and Doumoulin. Ignatiev has not made a relay until last kms and the bunch, well, the bunch today must have been disqualified for insulting the fans. Today and probably the rest of the days since they leave Monaco.

yeah... bit of a crappy stage.
The french fans must have been insulted at the way the riders treated today

Ignatiev had again great tactical day..Grin
Who crashed in that corner?
Who idiot planned that twirling-turning sprint (In wet day this had been nightmare)

So summary of the day:

A break with mostly french riders went and got caught, Ignatiev did something stupid, Cavendish won the sprint, while Freire was far behind and you`d have to use lightyears to measure the gap from the front back to Boonen...

Tbh, I`ve seen more unpredictable things in the washing machine.

Please can the sprinter on Cavedishs wheel perhaps go with 300m to go, just once would be nice, or another team try and set up a chain maybe, anything, please. I watch flat stages for the sprint, and it is no fun watching what is essentialy a line of riders cross the finishline one after the other.

We have seen today that managers don't want to run without reason by any reason and they have decided to boycott the stage trying tha not a french would win today, because French team agrees with the decision of the Tour. But be careful, on friday half mountain stage in Colmar will be again without radio, so expect another crappy, boring, embarrassing stage starred by this bunch of... cowards.

If I were Preudhomme I would be harder: no radio until the end of the Tour, and in day like this, reduce to half money prizes.

All the big guns in the classification were in the first group of the split.

"Interresting" riders who lost time include Wiggins, Leipheimer, Efimkin, Van den Broeck, Astarloza, Rogers, Devolder and (shocklingly enough) Menchov.

Boonen was nr.94 Grin

raar1991
Yeah don't blame Ignatiev Smile teams agreed not to help for French riders to win from brake

G_Larsson
Yeah, I saw Boonen way back in the pack. What's up with him? Pfft

You should be here more often..intresting. There is non stop power plays going around between UCI, riders, star riders, ASO, teams.
Worst example was Giro and ninth stage..that was ridiculous. Today..if they planned something..French guy wont win campaigne..this is at the Giro 9th. stage level flop.

Hushovd said in a interview after the race that he lost energy when he had to close the gap between him and Cav after a turn. That took a lot of the energy that he had left he said.
