What they could do now though is having Cancellara out in front and if he can get over Col d'Agnes ahead of the favourites then Andy might attack there, Fabian will wait for him and motor him home. A bit like last year where they distanced Valverde. There's a long way from theory to actually doing it of course and I'm most likely way off
But I agree with you. In fact, that's exactly what I've been thinking they should do since yesterday's stage finished. But he'll need a bigger lead than he has now.

I bet Menchov will attack from the bottom of the next climb Both Andy end Menchov have great helpers in the front group, i wonder if that could be a part of a bigger plan for any of the two? |

Some idiot on the cyclingnews forum is pissed that Evans was caught (she's australian) and swears it's because european riders hate non-european riders.
Right....of course. And pandas eat tyranossaurus. |

They're starting to build a gap, but the pack is not exactly letting up though.

Evans has told l'Equipe that in Australia he's known as an attacker unlike in europe. I doubt no one with repect of oneself can call Evans a wheelsucker after today.

lol Issoisso, she is probably just repeating all the things that our commentators say.
edit: And most Australians think Evans is not an attacker because the only race we get to see him every year is the tour.

Commentators tend to be tremendously biased and influence viewers in the same way
I can't respect a biased journalist. It's against all journalistic ethic. |

In general, they don't seem to understand why a guy like Evans wasn't allowed to be in the break...

Well, 80% of people in cyclingnews forum are idiot indeed. These last few days I've read thinks like Cancellara could have an option for yellow (yeah, right), the eternal Evans wheelsucking thing, the high probabilities for an sprinter winning the prologue (WTF?) and things like that. So the better place to get uninformed opinions about cycling is cyclingnews forums. That place rocks.

Australian commentators are the most biased in the world, closly followed by the kiwis. They make no effort to be even remotely unbiased.

I know a lot for an Australian, which is not a lot. I can only watch all the major tours/races over here. So i know nothing about all the northern classics and national championships.
