Ah k, and how do i do this excactly, can i also do it with the advanced editor or do i have to download another one for it?
Edit: I searched the forums and found a short post by you about doing this with the Fulleditor or something, could you explain that a bit?

In the folder where you have installed the Full Editor, there's a sub-folder called exports. Open it, open your exported DB, find the table you want to edit and open it with Excel. |

Hmmm, so i installed Microsoft Office 2007 (Official Version, not downloaded or something, but it says that the xml.file in exports is not a legit win32 application?
Edit: found a way to open it, but it gives me an error while trying to export it

Is there any way to have all teams in one division?
In know that it's possible to edit the sizes of the divisions, and it's not a problem to add teams to a division, but is it possible to delete one of them alltogether?
Some things seems to be hard coded. At one point I had a db with 50 teams in UPT and none in Cont. It worked great when selecting team for your career, however it crashed during calendar inscriptions. I'm guessing some things may be hard coded in that part, or I wasn't able to delete the CT division properly.
I also see problems with promotion/relegation, as there could be some hard coding there.
Any input on this would be nice. |

My guess is that it's 100 % impossible.
But if you want to try, you'd probably have to remove all the continental races or move them to Pro Tour. You can't avoid the relegation thing, but moving the two relegated teams back into Pro Tour once per season isn't too much work.
Also, make sure that no races have the "forceprotour" feature (in STA_race) enabled. |

also, if i edit someones stats (ie cobbles 61 to 51) will it automatically update their speciality?

In a DB, yes, in a save game, probably not until the following season. |

Look in the first post of this thread. There's a screenshot with three colorful arrows - the export button is just to the right of the green arrow. |

If the export button is greyed out, it's because you haven't typed in a name, or the name is invalid. |

I might have misread the post - I thought he said he can't see it. Thinking about it, that would probably mean it's greyed out. |

I like the PCMDailyDB a lot, but I would like to see some more 2.1 and 2.2 races in the calender.
So I´m planning on "stealing" quite a few of these from another DB and add them to my DailyDB.
Now I have a couple of questions before I begin editing;
1. Is there a maximum no. of races allowed in a DB?
2. Is there a maximum no. of teams allowed in a DB? (I might add a few of these as well)
I´m using the Advanced Editor + Excell 20007 and have converted both the Daily and the other DB´s .cdb files into xml files.
3. Is it possible to simply copy/paste race and stage info (rows) from one DB to another?
(I now I might have to change some race ID´s afterward to avoid clashing with allready exsisting races)
4. Is STA_RACE and STA_STAGE the only tables I need to edit to add a race?
If anybody can answer these questions I´ll be mighty gratefull.

Well, I am not a db-maker, but I did edit a db's for myself. I don't think there are any max_nums.
I really did as you've said in p.3 and that worked fine. And yes, I did edit just that tables you've mentioned in p.4 and that was enough. Of course, tou should edit only db-file, not save game

Hi,
I am trying to change my PCMdaily2009 DB, want to use LPR Brakes in a Career, with Di Luca and Bosisio and changing their injury setting, so they aren't banned (basically play the start of 09 including Giro as it happened, before the bans). So I assume I need to use an editor or convertor or something to do this?
I have downloaded both Hannes Convertor and Hannes Editor, but I can't figure out what to do with them - the language being the main reason. I don't want to just guess what it's doing, and screw up one of my current saved games.
Would someone be kind enough to give me some form of step-by-step guide on editing? I checked the FAQs but it's a bit too advanced for me, just names fields that should be edited but I haven't managed to get that far (and to be honest, I don't even know which program to use - Editor or Convertor).
Am I right in thinking the easiest way is to actually start a game with LPR and then use the editor to change the team?
Thanks in advance.

Thank´s Maximka. I´ll go ahead with the editing. Glad it´s relatively simple since I´m going to add around a 100 races or more to the PCMDaily DB
Maybe someone can confirm the´no limit´ on # of races/teams? |

You will need Hannes Converter. Open Dyn_cyclist and dyn_team tables. First of all you'll have to find out the team_id of LPR. That you can do in dyn_team table.
Then open dyn_cyclist table, locate your riders there and place team_id number in fklIDteam column. After that locate fklInjury column and place there 0 ("zero" instead of numbers that are there.
