"Astana has an interesting problem with so many leaders. Who do they NOT wait for? Armstrong and Contador, sure, and probably Leipheimer and Kloden, too, but what happens if the team has to deal with multiple issues? A flat, a crash, a split? It will be interesting to see how they handle it."

They wait for Lance and Contador. I dont' think they wait for ANYONE else, even Kloden and Leipheimer (especially Leipheimer). |

In the past I have said that my thoughts about Ligget and Sherwen are that they know what they are talking about, and that they just get excited and make mistakes and say stupid things. This tour though is convincing me otherwise. I think they really don't know what they are talking about. |

They're done. The stupid fall of Vandenbroeck will end up being just as painful to Evans as the Menchov fall was to all of Rabo. He was one of the only guys other than Evans who could possibly pull that team through this TTT, and without him, not only will Evans be forced to wait for an additional rider who would normally be allowed to fall off the pace, but he'll have to do that much more of the work by himself. |
