the texans really screwed up. HOW DID THEY MISS THAT FIELD GOAL... oh and
HOW DID THEY GET PENALISED SO MUCH, 93 YARDS.
Anyway Patriots won, and thats all that matters, next week we'll go end the colts streak. */end fan talk* Seriously though, i'm expecting a very tough game next week.

Okay quick question for all the non-Americans
why do you like the specific team you like?
Superbowl 42, NY Giants vs NE patriots.
knew nothing about nfl. decided about an hour before to flip a coin, pats won. Decided i'd stick with em'
Edit: Now i'm a huge fan. Watch Patriots today every day (Kristina Akra ), All access on saturday mornings, and i have a subscription to the PDF version of Patriots Football Weekly newspaper.

Well, I started watching NFL (on regular basis) in 2000. I loved Rams' focus on the passing game, and in general, they did good - so, I'm a fan of them.
Unfortunately, they aren't playing like they did 8-10 years ago

Well, then how about you go re-enact the helmet catch with a live grenade
You really should read Bill Simmons at ESPN.com, he's a huge fan of everything Boston, including the Pats. Check his NFL columns (and podcasts) out, I think you (and everyone else) will like him.

Fell for the Greatest Show on Turf did you. They sure as hell aren't playing anywhere near that good.

Here's a recent column (a ranking of all NFL teams after week 3, he's been on a book tour for his new Basketball book, so except for his most recent article his stuff from the last 2-3 weeks sucks), its really fun to read. Just beware all the pop culture references, you might not get some: https://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/...cks/091002Edited by Deadpool on 08-11-2009 22:26

But hey, at least you have Steven Jackson.
Exactly. It was brilliant. Now, look at them
Despite the recent down period (I'm used to it from other sports), I'm sticking with them, though. Had Rush Limbaugh bought the team, I'd have been out in the very same moment, though.

Poor Giants..they just keep on loosing. Colts was realy lucky..they aint winning Pats if they play like this.
Cardinals was running over Bears..
What is wrong with Ravens..they can not defend passing game?
Miami is one of the most unpleasant oponents for Pats.
Tampa Bay..YEAAH. I hate Packers after Vikings game
Saints ..no words.
Lions fucked all up..after perfect 1 'st.
Titans are back.

Im a packers fan every since i watched them (my first game) they play in green and yellow and it was snowing i was about 13 - 14 at the tiem and it was a low scoring game as i like defense.

I agree, the colts performance yesterday was quite poor, i'm still predicting it'll be very tough tough. Playing at Lucas Oil doesn't help, if we were at gilette it'd be better. But i still woulndn't take the colts lightly, i hope we'll win, i'm not sure though.
The saints are the other opponent i'm very worried about this season.

Whoever wins, the Pats-Colts game next week is going to be a shootout. Both teams have a fantastic passing game, a strong running game, and a sucky defense (part of the reason I doubt either of the teams can win the Super Bowl this year).
So, with the Pats-Colts match being very late in the night (my time), I really couldn't stay up to watch it. But I must say I'd really have LOVED to see Manning make a comeback like that - especially after an obvious mistake by Belichick. I mean, who goes for it on 4th down in 4th quarter, two minutes left on the clock, ahead with 17 points?
I just realised that I was misled by the short summary of the match that I read - Pats weren't ahead with 17 points when they had the fourth down, making the decision a tad more difficult. Still, all logic says "punt the ball!". I know Madden would've said so when playing NFL Madden
It still hurts. Bad call going for it on 4th and 2. Even worse call by the referee to not give the 1st down, which i thought it clearly was, and i'm not even the only one. Go round check some NFL sites.
