Take it easy. There is no need of violence. I am hear to comment some cycling events, that's all.

I am not sure that Evans can be ruled out for a pop at the overall for the TdF - I realise there is a TTT which really is going to give the Astana team an advantage, but Evans has grafted well from what I have seen in the stage races in the early season. I guess we will see from the climbs later on in this race - but I think he will be closer to Contador and the Schlecks then people think.
His tactic will probably be the same as ever, defensive defensive and then try and put time into everyone in the 40km TT (and then of course defend in the final Ventoux) |

S***. Fuglsang crashes with 3 kilometres to go after looking to finish in the Top 10. Loses 1'12 on Evans

Millar was so close, reminded me of Vogondy last year in the Tour (Stage 4?).
But a great sprint for Furlan.

Lampre had guys there but none of them was Lorenzetto, who should be their sprinter.

I thought to myself that Boonen started sprinting a bit too early, i guess he was worried about not catching Millar. Normally Boonen should have won |

Yeah maybe
Actually i have a question, i watched a replay of the climbing stage to La Toussuire from 08 Dauphine.
What i had forgotten from this stage was that Pierrick Fedrigo managed to stay with Valverde, Evans and Leipheimer and finished in front of them on the tough climb, and he was not in a breakaway. How did he manage that?

Boonen has no speed anymore. Lack of cocaine probably? |
