Team Saxo Bank :

Fabian Cancellara (Sch)
Matthew Goss (Aus)
Juan José Haedo (Arg)
Anders Lund (Dan)
Jason McCartney (Usa)
Nicki Sørensen (Dan)
Jurgen Van Goolen (Bel)
Jens Voigt (Ger)

Van Goolen is GC leader. Let's see how that pans out

Looking forward to see what the Saxo Bank guys can do in the Giro. Sad that Gustav Larsson isn't going to ride, he did a great race last year finishing as nr. 14 and I belive that he could have done a good result this year as well, maybe we'll se him in the Tour? If I'm not completely wrong, I guess that Cancellara will use the race to get in better shape for the Tour. Saxo Bank actually got a small sprint train now with Cancellara, Goss and Haedo and maybe Haedo can win a stage. He showed us last year that he is a good sprinter by winning some stages in Tour of California and other races. This year he has just won GP Cholet.

Cancellara will be aiming for the final TT.

Hmm, Simoni I'm a bit sceptical to. He's becomed very old now and I think that he have had his moments of glory. But you never know, that man never stops surprising. It's going to be very exciting following Colom and watch if he can do as good in the Giro as he did in Paris - Nice earlier this year.

Yes, he only agreed to renew if he was guaranteed a Tour spot.

He has fantastic speed. He just can't get to the finish in one piece in top level races.

come on, the only guys who can stop Basso are Menchov and Sastre, who are not focusing on Giro.

Oh there's also Di Luca but I don't think he can be as good as the previous three.

Also does Giro have an official site?

Not as in the tour or vuelta, no. But a mini site on La Gazetta
https://www.gazzet...a/2009/en/

It has all the essential information.

The mini site on La Gazetta has been their official site the last years and I think that the site you fund issoisso, isn't the official site.

If we got the the MSR website
https://www.gazzet...osanremo/#

and click Tutte le corse and click giro it goes to the mini-site. heck even the MSR and tirreno has a better site than the giro

then there's an another way to find the startlist. Many of the team I think that they anounce in a big part how their team will look.

Yeah, you're right, the gazzetta is the official one. And that's final because that's where the RCS Sport site links to.
