Ringerike GP
Stage 5
The last stage of the tour was pretty boring and the pack didn't mind about the break getting the win. So Kondrut took the win today.

Abergavenny International Criterium
Team: Appleby, Downing, Rowe, Briggs, Roche, Davis and Sampson.
Todays race is an important race and we hope that we can make the sponsors happy here. Worth mentioning is that both Malcolm Elliott and Peter Williams is injured, so the squad does include just 7 riders until August.
The race started off with some attacks and Dale was quick to counter.
The attackers created a break which consisted of 6 riders, Appleby, Bibby, Abreu, Klimov, Dyachenko and Jörgensen.
But suddenly a crosswind ruined our day, with 22 km to, the pack was 1,20 down the break and 1 minute down on a big group which handled the wind well.
They caught Dales group and Downing was starting to prepare for an attack in the pack.
Russell did come back to the front group, but then he was tired..
and he couldn't follow Rejninen and Hayles when the attacked with a few km left.
The british champion just kept his high pace and he continued to make his gap bigger.
No one could challenge him today, maybe Russell could if he had been in the front group from the beginning.
Tony Gibb won the sprint for 2nd.
Russell Downing had nothing left in the sprint and finished 12th today.
Todays race was pretty dissapointing, only one mistake and the day was ruined. Hopefully we can repair this with a great result in the next race which will be Robert Price Grand Prix of Wales. That's a sponsor goal and they want us to win, Russell will of course be our hope there.

Robert Price Grand Prix of Wales
Sponsor Goal: Win the race
Team: Downing, Appleby, Roche, Davis, Sampson, Briggs and Rowe
It will be really tough to win this, specially when teams like Astana, SaxoBank and Katusha are here. It looks like it will be a puncheur who end up as the winner, and therefore Downing and Appleby is our leaders. But riders such as Iglinskiy, Colom, Ignatiev, Böchman, Van Goolen and Bellis it will be just tough to finish in the top 5. So our expectations isn't big.
Grue (Sparebanken) started the race with an early attack!
We sent Sampson to counter.
But everyone got caught, and then Konwa decided to try an attack again. Almost everybody from the first attack countered.
James hadn't much left in the tank so he didn't counter..
but the ones who attacked again stayed away this time. So a breakgroup consisting of Kristoff, Wilson, Grue, Trussov, Delgado, Martinez, Bibby, Konwa, Brammeier and Rejninen got away.
After a while, also Markov, Gallagher and Craven got away from the pack and they could join the front group.
With 85 km, Tennant did the same thing. He attacked away from the pack...
and joined the break pretty easy.
But with 45 km left, it looked like the break would be caught, they only had 1,15 minutes on the pack. Katusha and Astana had started relaying and the pace was faster now.
Even though his own team were working to catch the front group, Kireyev decided to make an attack!
As the other ones, Kireyev joined the break. With 28 km left of the race, the big guns decided to attack! Iglinskiy opened it up.
Many riders countered and we decided to wait with Downing and give Appleby the opportunity to attack. Later that showed to be a bad tactical choice.
Now almost every rider from the break was caught, and with 20 km left, Downing decided that this was the right time.
But he couldn't catch the front with Ignatiev, Van Goolen, Bellis, Iglinskiy, Colom, Böchman and others. At the front they were totally crazy, they attacked all the time. First out, Ignatiev!
Iglinskiy countered. But the group came back together again. 12 km left and Jurgen Van Goolen tried his luck.
But back together again, and this time Ignatiev again!
The attacks sorted out the best from the not so good, and this was the positions with 6 km left.
E1 - Böchman(SaxoBank), Ignatiev (Katusha) and Iglinskiy(Astana).
E2 - Van Goolen(SaxoBank) and Colom(Katusha)
E3 - Bellis
E4 - Horner(Astana), Appleby and others.
E5 - Downing
In front nothing has changed and with 1km it's really close.
Iglinskiy is out of the game, and Böchman is starting to pull away from Ignatiev!
It's looking good for Böchman, can Ignatiev come back?
No he can't, Lasse Böchman wins todays race!
Dale Appleby finishes 10th, a pretty good race by him. Downing finishes 14th.

Very exciting race there!
It's just a shame the field is so strong. Given that fact I think your results were really good.
Keep it coming GL

British Championship TT
First out of the small favourites was Chris Newton, he took the lead at the first check.
Then Sampson sat a great time, he had probably went out to fast.
Ben Greenwood sat a pretty good time at the first check, he did beat Newtons time, but he would probably not be someone who will be a threat for the win.
Next up was Rowe and he crushed everyones times, but also he had went out to fast.
It was then time for Chris Froome. He rode great and beat Greenwoods time at the check with 1,29.
Thomas was up next and he did a pretty good ride today, finishing 14th of the day, +3,23.
As expected our riders had went out to fast and they didn't have a chance to compete with the best today. Now the real stars started the race, first David Millar. He beat Froomes time at the check with a large margain.
Mark Cavendish rode pretty good today and he was just a few seconds slower than Froome at the first check.
Cummings was riding pretty well today but he couldn't match the best.
At last it was time for the big star, Bradley Wiggins! He beat Millars time at the check with some seconds.
Chris Froome was the first rider to cross the line with a good time, he took the lead easiely.
But pretty fast his 1st place at the podium changed to a silvermedal. David Millar finished with a great time, and he crushed Froomes time, 1,13 ahed of the former Kenyan.
Cavendish couldn't really ride faster than Millar, he even was slower than Froome with just 6 seconds at the finish line.
Next up at the line was Steven Cummings and he almost got caught by Bradley Wiggins today. But he finished 5th today, +1,55.
Wiggins held his lead to Millar and he took the win with 6 seconds. A 1-2 for Garmin today!

BAD NEWS! I have edited my sponsor confidence in Hannes convertor and now PCM wont start. Guess I've done something wrong, and I don't have a backup. What do I do? Can this be fixed?
