In the end, 198 riders got nominated for 192 available spots. Six stags that did not find a team yet were left out, but they will receive the Avenir xp. The six riders left out are:

Then it was a nice little puzzle for me to make sure all other riders got into teams of eight. Some teams will thus see their riders in two (or perhaps more?) teams, which adds to the fun of Avenir! A German - Belgian team was created that will ride under Kraftwerk colours, whereas the newly formed Euskotren team will have riders of five continents in their squad.
