Which is exactly the same
Am I wrong, or did last year Pro Tour not have the Vuelta, Milano-San Remo, etc...? On the UCI world ranking, there are Pro tour races, and historical races
so, that's not the same

Who said no more Pro Tour ranking??? On uciprotour.com (dowm atm) there will be, again, a pro tour ranking
I'm going right now to the site, and it shows "Service Unavailable", so...?
The last time I went to the pro tour site, there were no rankings, but I'm maybe wrong.
What I think is that there will be one ranking, including Pro tour and historical calendar, and one leader jersey |

The last time I went to the site and it was up, it showed the new calender (PT races only) and it already had a tab for rankings
What you don't seem to understand, is that there is going to be an (invisible? not sure yet) 'world' ranking, which decides things as how many riders per country can go to the worlds, etcetera, and a Pro Tour ranking, with only the PT races...
And there will only be a jersey for the PT.. not the WT (world tour).
You'll see.

Yeah I'll see, tomorrow is the end of Tour Down Under, so we'll see how things will go. But I really think there is going to be a world ranking leader jersey
And there's still the service unavailable thing

In the first article even the UCI still uses the name Protour, although it's an announcement for the new World Ranking! Sometimes their logic is even worse than Cyanide's. |

I really think that things will be cleared tomorrow at the end of Down Under, with the Podiums, etc... |

I may be wrong, but isn't World Ranking the same as Pro Tour, just with ASO's races? As far as I'm aware, the points schema hasn't changed at all. |

Lol Brown, I think he could have won if he didn't shoot out of his pedal. He really honours his nickname, Graeme Clown |

It's changed: they basically doubled point amounts. |

Just have a look at this document
As for the UCI Pro Tour ranking, there's no more ranking part on uciprotour.com |

Didn't take long for American media to over cover Armstrong's comeback and misinterpret. One of the headlines today on ESPN: Armstrong Falls Short in TDU Comeback. Like he was ever going to win. |

You know how it is:
A "Allan Davis wins TDU with 3 stage victories" headline doesn't catch even half of audience that a "Armstrong is cleaning his ass after taking a dump" headline...

To be honest, I was suprised Armstrong was as active as he was. I expected him just to ride in the pack, but he made late attacks on several stages and seemed to be looking to do more than just have a leisurely ride.
I honestly didn't expec to see a hint of anything from him until the Giro (and maybe not anything then either)... now I'm wondering if he'll make an impact sooner. |
