It's time for the hell of the north!

The beginning of the race was really boring, nothing happened. We had to wait until it was only 50 km left of the stage. Then many riders were tired, except for Coyot, and things started to happened.

With 40 km to go Ballan, Burghardt, Leukemans, Gilbert and Van Petegem attacks!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRBallan.png
Attack!

It's only Ballan and Burghardt who gets a gap. But the others is caught.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRBallan1.png
Ballan and Burghardt at the front.

Coyot is in the second group with all the other favourites.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRCoyot.png
Coyots group.

With just 12 km left of the stage, Hincapie and Leukemans falls!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRHinc.png
A fall!

Vladimir Gusev stops to help Hincapie.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRGuse.png
The russian all-rounder is stopping!

Ballan and Burghardt now enters the velodrome, they have got a pretty big gap now!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRBallan2.png
Wohooo, the VELODROME!

Coyot enters the velodrome on O'Gradys wheel.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRCoyot1.png
Time for the sprint!

With 0.8 km left, Ballan has the lead, but Burghardt is coming fast now!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRSprint.png

But Allessandro Ballan wins Paris Roubaix 2007!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRSprint1.png

With just a couple of metres to the line, Coyot is in the lead for 3rd! What!?
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRSprint2.png

And he takes the 3rd spot at the podium! Amazing!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/PRSprint3.png

O'Grady didn't sprint, weird...

Amstel Gold Race

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGRL.gif

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGR.png

The spring classics continues with some hills, first out, Amstel Gold Race! We don't have any gret hilly rider so the team we sent here is not good. Everybody is here for the experience.

The break today were really big, 15 riders!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGRBreak.png
Todays break.

With 120 km left they had a gap of 12 minutes, and the gap grew and grew. It was 15 minutes with 100 km left and 18 minutes with 70 km left. The break were going to win! But who?

With just 0,5 km left, Bert Grabsch was in the lead, but not with much.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGRGrabsch.png
Was Bert Grabsch going to win AGR?!

Yes he was!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGRGrabsch1.png

Kevin Hulsmans finished 2nd while Torsten Hiekmann took a nice 3rd.

Rebellin crossed the line first of the favourites, around 4 minutes after Grabsch.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/AGRRebellin.png

Todays breakawayriders were: McCartney, Possoni, Kozontchuk, Aboukmov and Poitschke. McCartney dropped off pretty early.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWMc.png
McCartney couldn't follow the others.

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWBreak.png
Todays break.

But McCartney came back. But that didn't help so much, they got caught with 40 km to the line. Then the action started. F.Schleck, Rebellin, Caucchioli and Bertagnolli attacked.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWReb.png
Attack!

After a while Kim Kirchen also decides to attack, he joins the chase group with Schleck, Bertagnolli and Caucchioli.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWKirch.png

Rebellin has decided to go solo.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWReb1.png

With 27 km left of the race, Kim Kirchen first attacks!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWKirch1.png

At the same time, Riccardo Ricco, Paolo Bettini and Michael Boogerd attacks from the peleton.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWRicco.png

With 20 km left the situation is like this:
E1 - Rebellin
E2 - Kirchen
E3 - Bettini, Ricco
E4 - Schleck, Bertagnolli, Boogerd, Caucchioli
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFW20km.png
Here you can see Rebellin to Caucchioli.

A moment later Bettini and Ricco catches Kim Kirchen.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWKirch2.png

With just 5 km left, Boogerd decides to give it a last try.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWBoog.png

It's time for the sprint, Rebellin is almost chased down when it's 1 km left.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFW1km.png

But he still is to strong for his rivals. Davide Rebellin wins La Fleche Wallone 2007!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LFWReb2.png

Ricco finishes 2nd.

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LBL.png

It's time for the last spring classic!

The break today consisted of 18 riders!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LBLBreak.png
Todays break.

The most remarkable is Vladimir Karpets and Janez Brajkovic. The break had as most 13 minutes on the peleton, but like in Amstel Gold Race, no one really wanted to relay. But with 36 km to the line, Michael Boogerd attacks!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LBLBoog.png

That attack creates a favourite group.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LBLFav.png
Bettini, Schumacher, Kirchen, Boogerd, Nocentini, Sanchez and Pellizotti.

But they must work hard, because they are having 4 minutes up to the leader, Vladimir Karpets, with just 17 km to go. It looks like Karpets will win easy but when the sprint starts at the 1 km mark, Paolo Bettini is in front!
He wins LBL 2007!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/LBLBett.png

Karpets finished 2nd while Brajkovic took 3rd.

Stage 1

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDRL.jpg

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR1.png

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDRT.png

Today starts the last Pro Tour race before Giro D'Italia! Jose Rujano is here for the form. But don't expect so much from him here. The race bgeins with a small prologue and we have Gustav Larsson here for the stagewin!

It went exactly how we wanted it to go.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR1Lars.png
Gustav was really hungry today, so he won the stage with 2 seconds over Vladimir Karpets!

Jose Rujano ended up 13th, just 6 seconds slower than Gustav!

Another 3 points to Unibet! Gustav in yellow tomorrow, it's going to be tough to keep it.

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR2.png

Todays stage was really tough, Larsson lost his jersey and even Rujano had some trouble with following the pack. Samuel Sanchez won todays stage after an attack.

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR2R.png

Stage 5

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDRL.jpg

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5.png

It's the queen stage today, hopefully Rijano can make somthing here.
On the fourth climb Iker Camano, Andy Schleck and Robert Gesink attacked so Rujano countered.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5Gesink.png

Rujano got a green moment and just flew past Gesink.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDRRujano.png

He caught Bellotti and now it was just Dupont left.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5Rujano1.png

Then Sanchez attacks!
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5Sanch.png

But he can't get away. Menchov and Nibali tries instead.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5Mench.png

But they can't get away. The pack is close to catch Rujano now, but he increases his lead in the downhill. But on the flat, he gets caught.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR5Rujano2.png

Nibali wins the stage.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR6R.png

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TDR6GC.png

Even if Rujano was a long way down in the results, he showed that he had some power and that if he wants to, he can play in the mountains.
