Accidently picked up a NHL game, started playing on it, won the League with Detroit. That's about it. |

Detroit is like Toronto. Only the people that live there like them. |

I'm scared Graham James lives in the Peg. Atleast action is being taken towards his arrest apparently.

Man the leafs have been horrible, i was afraid that there 4-0 start would be a sign of good things. Im glad they are awful now. Calling up kadri, to help them. The only positive is the sens won 5 straight,. Exceopt for a little blunder against the canucaks. Man Leclaire is not worth 3.8 milion. |

Except for Leclaire being rock-solid and playing really well earlier this season. Its the rest of the team that let him down then, but now he is playing at his normal level again. Just remember though, its not how you start, but how you finish.
Here's why Kovie sux. He has a Cap Hit of 6.66mil and plays for the Devils.
Oh yeah, your little Sens got schooled by the Canucks. Just goes to show how much better the West is compared to the East, with a about 3 exceptions.

Are they your favourite team? Or just surprised?
#1 problem is probably Kovalchuk, who has forced the team to go into each game a couple players short cause of cap space isssues.
#2 Kovie is cursed, thanks to the whole off-season drama. (It was worse than something Brett Favre would do). Even check out Kovie's contract (my post above)
#3 Parise their best player is out 3-4 months and with Kovie out and Paul Martin gone since July they have no real offense.
#4 Possibly a management problem that needs to be fixed like the coach, but the above issues are for now, bigger issues.

Well its almost the all star break, so maybe we can make a Cup winner predicion halfway through the season. ( What happened to Deadpool and Isso in this thread, its like they put it on some sort of ignore list)

Its nothing special really. I just like to get involved in many discussions, but its not like I try to have a high post count. And Ive had a few stories so 1 or 2 posts a day just from those.
But my prediction if I had one would be Washington. I think Ovie turns it around and I think they become ''buyers'' at the trade deadline, looking for an experienced goalie like Roloson and a 2nd line scorer like Grabovski if he keeps up or someone like Anisimov.

Caps is not in the market for a goalie, they have a good tandem in Neuvirth and Varmalov which they are gonna keep. And I don't see any reason for Tampa to trade the goalie they just recently acquired as their starter for the rest of the season.
My prediciton for winners are Vancouver, Detroit, Flyers and Penguins. All four teams have a core that can take them to the cup and are not in the need to make desperate trades at the deadline, which hardly will make your team better in the short run because players need time to gain chemistry with each other.

But I think the Caps need a goalie like Roloson for their two youngsters so that they can learn. Obviously Roly wont be the starter, but he coould teach a few things to Varlamov and Neuvirth.
Washington has a good core too. Just not enough secondary scoring and inexperienced goalies.

100% agreed...
Except for the part of Roloson not being their starter... Id say the old man still got a lot to show so maybe a shared no.1 status with Varlamov might boost the caps...
Would be an inideal situation for the caps though with Neuvirth playng single number 3... What they need is a brilliant ex-goalie like paddy roy as a coach... He could teach them a lot aswell

I hate to say it but I have Ovie fever (and a real fever too)
But its kinda a longshot guess.
