Go tell that to Thomas Christiansen and Johan Cruyff (I'm not sure anyone will get the reference...) |

The whole drama that happened between those two would make a decent soap opera... |

So, AaB-Celtic ended with a 2-1 victory for AaB after being under a big Celtic pressure through a lot of the match.
AaB has now secured the 3rd place in the group and can now continue into the UEFA Cup knockout-stage!
Now we just have a match at Old Trafford to enjoy without any pressure on us, and then it's UEFA Cup from february!

I'm so sad that I didn't get to watch it. ITV and the few other channels that I had didn't show the game, but I did get to watch a summary later on.
And Bendtner scored the winning goal for Arsenal. It was a great sports day |

If you cant beat Celtic at home, i would have worried. Such a poor team on the road, its almost a home 'banker' for three points. Good luck in the Uefa cup! |

Jeez really a bad year for Scottish football, Rangers humiliating themselves against Kaunas and now Celtic ending 4th below Aalborg, I mean Aalborg ffs they have a guy called Steve Olfers in their defense who wasnt even good enough for the Dutch 1st division
Dwight K. Schrute: 'I'm not a hero. Im just a mere defender of the office. You know who is a hero? Hiro from Heroes. That's a hero. And Bono'.

Steve Olfers has developed a lot since he came to Aalborg, but still Aalborg has the smallest amount of defenders possible. It's amazing how you can run a "top" football team with just 6 defenders

hehe, but I did hear that Anders Due is suddenly playing godlike again after he failed bigtime here in Holland aswell. And jeez Feyenoord could use Curth now...lost to Deportivo 3-0 yesterday in the UEFA Cup, its just becoming humiliating for them after losing to Nancy and CSKA aswell...

funny: a former Barça vice-president says that Mourinho was all set to sign at Barça last year in November.
At Barça for a new coach to come in the vote must be unanimous.
All the directors, president, vice-president voted in favour, except mr. Johann "I suck too much to get a coaching job" Cruyff, so it was vetoed.
That former Barça vice (Marc Ingla) says that it was the worst decision Barça has ever made, not signing Mourinho....
Alarmist much? |

Aalborg just has succes in getting failed danes (and a single dutch guy) in dutch football, home and making them great again. But you forgot they got Michael Jakobsen home from PSV. where he could have continued and getting in to the bench quickly. And yes Due is playing better than he did before he went to Arnhem.

Just as a sort of "Legend", the teams in dark blue advance and will face the teams in dark green, who also advance. Teams will not be allowed to be drawn against teams from the same country NOR teams from their same group.
Teams in Red drop to the WAFA cup and teams in baby blue go home crying

I didn't know a team can't play another team from the same country in the second round. Was that introduced this year?
The AaB fans must be happy with the draw with Man Utd, even though the result didn't matter much. |

Nope, it's been that way ever since second placed teams started qualifying for the CL in 96/97. |

Woohoo, FC Porto beat Arsenal's under-14 team 2-0. We are great!
Seriously now, what's up with Bendtner and Arsenal's fans? I was at the stadium tonight and every time he touched the balled the fans whistled their lips off...

'tis a mystery.......surely it can't have anything to do with the fact he sucks more than any Arsenal player since Glen Helder!
Seriously, he's awful and would be out of his depth at Stoke City, and the Arsenal fans knows this so very well since they have to put up with him playing every time one of their other forwards is injured
