No, there have been a few structural changes in the cdb files between games. We have a 2020 Database for PCM 19 though. If you want only the current stats, the excel editor allows you to copy larger sections of tables from this DB to your PCM19 DB. You would need to be very careful about matching rider IDs though, otherwise you run the risk of attributing stats to the wrong riders.

Hi,
WorldTour/ProSeries have been renamed to their old fake names with the last game update (I think), do you know how I could fix that ? |

The cdb files from our most recent update should fix that again. Have you installed that? If so, it could be the somewhat common thing that PCM overwrites the cdb in the My Documents folder. Paste our cdb again while having the game open. If that doesn't fix it either, let us know.

I did install the most recent update, I've also tried to paste again the cdb files as you said, but it still won't work
I don't know if that's normal but the teams/riders names are all correct (no fake Deceuninck for instance) but Cya World Tour is still here
I did a fresh install of the game + installed your pack up to v1.5, so I'm not sure what could have gone wrong :x |

Hi. Volta ao Algarve ITT (stage 3) is bugged. The stage finishes 5 kms before the actual end and it screws the classification completely. |

Hey guys, big thanks for the great work! The 2nd and 3rd stage in the Giro are the same as the 4th and 5th. Can i fix this myself, as you mention something about the stages being optional in the download section. I'm not too good at modding stuff |

With regards to Cya World Tour: You're right, I have the same issue on my copy. We'll have to check how that happened and include a fix in the next update or a quick fix/instruction sometime earlier.

Thanks for pointing it out, and sorry about that. We'll try to include a fixed stage file in the next update. For a guide on how to replace a broken stage without any elaborate modding (by simply copying and renaming a similar working stage), please check the bug post on the first page of this thread.

Yes, this was an oversight on my part when compiling the update. I thought only the first three stages were changed for the Giro, when in fact the whole first week saw some changes. With the most recent patch, the developers included an entire variant of the new Giro. If you sort by date of change in the CM_stages folder, you'll find the stage files named top_giro2_XX_2020. You can simply remove the 2 from giro2, overwriting the current stage files and the route should be correct. Apologies for that.

Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to delete all stage names starting with top_giro2 or just two stages. And which ones are they? |

I have an easier solution now, simply download these stage files, paste them into the CM_Stages folder, overwrite the files it asks you to overwrite and you should be good

Hi Guys,
First of all I appreciate the job that has been done with the databases. Two questions prior to starting my first season. I have extracted both PCM daily first upload and latest version 1.0, but will wait with 1.5 version - though I have taken the cdb file from the latest version 1.5 as the only file.
My questions:
1 - Will there be new stage profiles for the 2nd season so it will not be a copy of season 1 or do I need to do something here?
2- I could see Sunweb jerseys was red, but arent they white in real life or am I misunderstanding something?
Thanks again guys :-) |

Hi Donne86, I saw your post in the comments of the Update 1.5 post, if you're hesitating because of the Giro stages, simply look two posts above yours, you can use those stage files (instead of the ones from the update) to have the correct route. As for your questions:
1. Yes, you will have a lot of variants for most major and some minor races each year. There is nothing you have to do to activate it, that happens automatically.
2. Sunweb started the season in red (for instance, here is a report on Tiesj Benoot's Paris-Nice stage win earlier this year with him in that red jersey), but switched to white after the restart. It's something we could be looking to include in the next update. Visual changes like that can always be applied to careers that have already started as well, so you don't have to wait for that to start yours

Hi again guys, Stefan Bissegger was free agent, but now he is in Education First, you can put in the next update too
And another stuff, the Luxemburg N.C. is broken (both: route and ITT), when you go to play this race, the game go out to Windows... Please If you can do another v2 in the UPDTAE 2 would be amazing!
Thx!!

Not sure whether to post this here or in the technical issues section but since I'm running the PCM DB I thought I would try here.
I'm looking for a bit of help with an issue I've come across. I'm part way through the U23 Giro and have reached a time trial stage. However, when the stage loads there are no riders therefore the stage cannot start.
The game has not frozen as I can speed / slow time and can also see the shadows from the clouds moving. I've run on 8x speed for 5 minutes but no riders appear.
If I replace the Time Trial stage with a normal stage (e.g. mountain) then the stage loads correctly and all the riders are there.
Is this a known issue? Is there a work around for it? The time trial (prologue) on stage one worked fine so I'm wondering if it has something to do with retired / abandoned riders?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Is this a team time trial? Those can be buggy if there's a team that has no riders left. Or did you get an error message while loading saying "Stage needs reexporting" or something like that? That specific stage has not been brought up yet, but it does sound like there's something wrong with the stage file. Since you know how to replace stages, the easiest fix would simply be to take a TT of similar length from another race and put it in place instead of the malfunctioning one. We'll have a look at it for the next update, thanks for letting us know.

It's an individual time trial, not a team one.
No error messages appear.
It's a repeatable bug as it happened on my previous career in the same race (U23 Giro) but I wrote it off as one of those things. The last time it happened I tried to replace the stage with the final time trial of the normal giro but got the same error (no riders appearing). Makes me think it is not an issue with the stage (perhaps there are race settings?).
I can simulate the stage and get a result.
When there is a time trial or team time trial as the first stage of a race it works fine. I think this is the first one I've done where there is a second time trial in the same race, this must have something to do with it.
I think the U23 Giro has fewer riders in than a normal stage race, but then again ''ve done national time trial championships that have fewer with no problem. |
