Which Portuguese riders would you expect to get signed up, if it turn out like this. Who are the up and coming Portuguese riders. |

Well, the big talent is Tiago Machado, but god only knows who they might sign IF (biiiiiig if) this comes to fruition

Is he a climber or a Sprinter, im sure if the Portuguese sponsor is going to be final they are going to want to invest in some younger riders. |

yeah, Rui Costa is a pretty big talent as well.
Machado is an all-rounder, he climbs, he time trials, short hills and he's a fighter.
Basically, he has the skills to always finish runner up in everything
Rui Costa is a puncheur who livened up the last under-23 worlds by attacking a bunch of times

Rui Costa, Manuel Cardoso, Ricardo Mestre and of course Tiago Machado, the best young riders in Portugal

Cardoso and Mestre are hardly young anymore
They might be signed, though

They'll both be 26 by the time next season starts, so although they can be useful riders (especially Mestre), they're hardly prospects

it's been clarified that DueƱas never said he took EPO knowingly, but said he took what the team's doctors told him to take.
And Ruben's certainty that Dekker would win both olympic titles has just crashed. Dekker withdrew himself from both races. "not in shape".
here's the funny part: his replacement for the TT is Gesink

What races has Dekker done this year, I haven't seen him in anything, or is he gunning for the Vuelta |

he was sick. Rabo's leader for the Vuelta is Gesink. that's Gesink's big goal. And it'll show us what he's made of.

Terpstra was outstanding at the Ronde van Vlaanderen. not much more, but that's already awesome for such a young rider
